Yes, the HP is up a bit of a hill, but if i can push/carry a strapping 2 1/2 year old up it a couple of times a day i'm sure other even semi-fit people can haul themselves up it occassionally!
It's a lovely hotel, and when the surroundings are finished it will be even better. Rooms are a lovely size, everywhere very clean, good facilities throughout although a bit on the pricey side. The pools are superb, and now the Beach club is open you really are spoilt for choice when it comes to swimming/playing/eating/drinking.
Beach is 20-30 mins walk away, as are the nearest supermarkets and the useful(and very cheap) railway station.
Work is going to be going on around the area for quite some time i would imagine, but then work is going on throughout the Costa Del Sol so what do you expect? It's generally a top class hotel and we would go back like a shot, as would our 2 year old who won't stop asking to go back to his "holiday house"!!

Well we have just returned from here this morning.
The hotel is immaculate and the best I have stayed in with a indoor pool with jacuzzi, gym, sauna/steam room.
A large swimming pool outside which is great for the kids as its not too deep.Pleanty of sunloungers, a outside bar which serves some nice grub at not a bad price.
Inside the hotel there are restaurants, laundry room, games room, ball play area, internet room, theatre.
My only dissapointment was the where the hotel was situated-basically in the middle of nowhere and we had to live in taxis to get us anywhere which can work out very expensive.
Benalmadena and Fengorola are well worth visiting, great beaches and loads of burger kings and mcdonalds if thats what you like.
The beach cllub officially opened when we were there and is very impressive.
The holiday palace would be ideal for sun worshippers who like to laze around the pool everyday.
I will post some photos.

Rooms were fantastic , Staff at reception fantastic and very helpful. The location was the only thing that let thishotel down. We are bith travel agents so have been to a lot of high standrd hotels , would go back to thisone tomorrow. The food wasnt up to much but to be honest we ate out every day. Not much for kids but to be fair they do have free acess to the beach club and holiday village 10 mins away. Not suitable for people with walking difficulties.

Just back after spending 2 weeks at the Sirenis Holiday Palace in Torremuelle. First impressions were wow! We could not believe our luck and eyes. The reception area was beautiful marble, granite, glass lifts, water features and stylishly furnished. The reception floor also contained the supermarket (the wee shop), which was stocked with essentials except bread strangely, although this was available at the La Tahona restaurant (on this floor too!) freshly baked or the usual bimbo loaf, also a games room (arcade in nature), Internet caf
