Move
If you are ever going to stay at this hotel make sure you are fit and very healthy and don't have any breathing problems were you need to use inhalers, the road from the front up to the hotel should be named as Coronary Hill as this hill could lead and cause a person to have a heart attack, the side of the hotel where we where it was always in the shade, and another thing is advisable to bring earplugs because you find when people come in late they can be a bit nosy taking no thought for people trying to sleep, and people argueing during that time of the morning....

Best rooms are the pool view rooms and high floor for sea view and marina view.

Beaches

We were expecting a smallish resort and were very surprised to see a big town. Shopping was excellant but all the prices seemed to be the same with not much cometition. I haven't been to Spain since the euro and was shocked at how expensive it was for food and drink. Alcohol in the bars was very expensive and there wasn't much choice of venues. All the bars were small with no music or entertainment - surprised. We walked the length of the resort to see if we had missed anything. We can certainly go to other countries and have better entertainment and a lot less costs

Benalmadena is a beauiful place to go,there is so much to do and the beaches are very clean and well maintained. There are a lot of interesting shops and the marina is lovely with a lot of nice looking boats.

The resort was Benalmadena, costa del sol,the resort is very dirty, pavements are disgusting, lots of dog foul around, and stench of drains.
Beaches are kept clean from rubbish, however the sand is quite dirty, you do have to pay for the sunbeds.plenty to see, harbour very nice but expensive to drink and eat there, tivoli world is well worth a visit sumthing for everyone and plenty of entertainment to watch, chair lifts giving fanatastic views, and sea life was interesting. There are plenty of other things to do and see but we couldnt fit it all in as we only stayed for a week.

The beach is OK but much better at Torremelinos but you can catch the local Tivoli World train that runs through the day or walk it in 20 minutes. The Marina is second to none I have seen in France, Italy or Spain. There is every kind of night life from Kareoke to top casino if you want it.

lovely beaches with great sunbeds .harbour area very large with loads of shops bars and restaurants great to walk round to see hundreds of boats and loads of fish for you to feed.in the town area again full of bars and shops.lovely walks along the prom all the way to torremolinos if you want with spanish resturants serving great fish dishes all the way along.there is tivoli world with rides for smaller kids and next to that the cable car ride to the top of the mountain with horse display and birds of prey display plus donkey rides and walks all for 10 euros

Benalmadena has plenty to offer. It's a place the wife and I go back to every other year.
My only real complaint about it, is that even though it is generally clean, there is a lot more dog mess to avoid than I remember seeing last time I was there.

The beach was not the best i have seen,it was more like black sand rather than a golden beach as you would expect.
lots of locals came round every evening mythering for you to but things, this became very annoying.

Very family orientated although I believe there are lively singles bars. The marina is a must to visit. Beach and resort very clean and I would definitely visit again

This was the first time I'd been aboard as a single parent & it was pretty painless, flight & taxis went ok.
Benalmedina was pretty quiet, few Brit pubs and a Sea life, didn't visit the Tivoli world. Beach was a bit disappointing with gritty sand, though it did vary along the length, sea was clean though.
Restaurants were pretty good, especially if you like BBQ'd fish, only one ropey "all you can eat" one where the quality was a bit missing.
Lots of Spanish visit this resort, which has to tell you it's a worthwhile spot !!!
