We stayed at HV 10th June for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

Hotel very clean and luxurious.

Rooms exellent.

Food was really good something for everyone.

We never had a problem with sunbeds as we spent most of our time at the beach club.

Don't listen to the other bad reports just have a really good holiday. Enjoy.

Having been to the HV before I knew what to expect and wasn't disappointed. The last time I went to the HV the Beach Club wasn't finished, so I was pleased to find that it was fantastic.

The hotel itself is very good.

The only downsides are the location and the queues for the bar in the evening's.

The food was great and my 7 year old nephew is already asking me when we're going back.

If you have young children and you want a relaxing holiday go to this hotel.

All Inclusive, really enjoyed the fresh omelettes but had to wait 5 mins. The orange juice machine continally ran out. The main meals were nice especially soup/fish. Nice presentation especially the chocolate house. Nice not to get an upset tummy.

Loved the large double beds and we used to put the kids in the creche for 11/2 and do a bit of exercise in the gym and go and lay on our big beds with the fab aircon. TV chanels dire-please have kids channels.

Pay extra for the sea views but ask for mid floors as lower may be noisey and the top floor would be a nightmare without lifts. The lifts took too long to come and with pushcairs this would be the only option.

Staff were friendly as was the maid. Only irritation was we did not get our wake up call-so take your alarms. We woke up for thr 6.30 coach with 10 mins to spare.

Entertainment -could do more and I thought Develish & Devine were poor though did have charisma. Loved Grease night. Kids loved the disco but got bored and kept roaming around the bushes and dirt behind the stage.

Went to the piano bar later but it,s a bit hazardous with the fountain-take dry clothes! Also would be better to have another option ie Irish Bar open at 10.

Went all inclusive in May 2005,found the hotel great, very large, great for lazing around in.

Pool area was lovely always got sun beds. Food was fine I think people need to remember that they are trying to cater for all tastes and we dined in the buffet resturant every night, the kids loved the chips and burgers, my wife enjoyed the roasts, and I enjoyed the more exotic Paellas, currys prawns and such like.

It is fairly hard to get anywhere from there however this was ok for us as it removed the temptation of leaving the complex.

The drinks were fine however we did notce that they were either very weak in strength or had very little volume of alcohol as altough people were drinking all day found very few people us included drunk (which isnt a bad thing).

The first choice entertainers work so hard and tried there best to suit every taste even our chav kids!! The entertainment was fine and all worked very hard and provided a great deal of variety every night. All in all a great place to holiday esp with kids.

We paid about 300 pounds a head for a week and if you take 100 pounds off that for the flight for 200 quid you could not get better value.

Kids loved it, if you just want a relaxing trouble free week, its fine.

We have just arrived back from the best holiday we have ever had.

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. I am a stickler for cleanliness and this hotel was exceptional. Wherever you are in the hotel you are likely to see someone cleaning something!

The First Choice Reps were excellent. They are on hand to see to your every need. One of our party had a minor medical problem and the Reps couldn't help us enough. There is also a Doctor on site should you need one.

The food was wonderful and the rooms were beautiful.

The pool area was clean and you had no problem getting a sunbed.

The entertainment for both children and adults is very good, we haven't laughed as much in ages!

We are certainly going to book for next year. The only advice I would give to anyone thinking of going to this hotel is go all inclusive, value for money is excellent.

Nice modern hotel, food not really nice, too much of the same thing everytime. We went all inclusive Saturday to Saturday and stopped eating there on the Wednesday.

Bar staff are miserble, Rodriguez I think his name was never smiled once and looked constantly fed up.

When we arrived after nine at night we where promised a meal in our room which didn't materialize and the kids were starving.

The spa and the gym are excellent.

The pool cut our childrens feet as the tiles where loose.

We used our card at the beach club and where not charged for our drinks.

Would not go back to this hotel the location is lousy.

Stayed all inclusive a must for this hotel as there are no shops nearby and only one in the hotel which is expensive.

Hotel accommodation was excellent with two showers in bathroom hotel room cleaned daily.

Food was ok but not great.

Location in between two main resorts Benalmedena (harbour well worth a visit) & Fuengirola, 1 euro per person on a bus 10>15 euros by taxi.

Pools were very clean drinks included at beach club but not food all inclusive.

Reception staff very friendly but not enough bar staff to cater for evening entertainment.

First Choice staff tried hard to entertain more professional singers needed.

Overall a good value for money family holiday (not for singles) we will definitely visit again

We went All Inclusive, and it is well worth it, although it does mean that you might not want to leave and visit other places. You can upgrade to AI when you get there, it was about 36 euros for an adult, not sure for the kids. Certainly worth considering as soft drinks are about 1.90 euros and snacks about 3 to 5 euros.

The cleanliness is very good, there is always a team of cleaners everywhere.

The food was pretty good with a varied choice of roast / veggies / salad / burgers / specialities etc.

Most of the staff are very friendly and always have a smile on their faces and are willing to help. Some of the bar staff need to learn how to smile, although they do work very hard.

The entertainment consisits of a copule of resident bands and of course the first choice entertainers. They do a good job, but there could be more outside entertainers brought in to vary the entertainment.

I would consider this resort again, although I don't like going to the same place twice, variety is the spice of life.

We all had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday and would highly recommend it to family holidayers.

Found the hotel itself excellent - beautiful rooms, especially the bathroom. However my 6ft+ 15yr old son had problems with his sofa bed it was too small!

The food was OK, breakfast and lunch were great but the evening meal was often disappointing, and not always as hot as it should be. Tried both the Mexican & Italian.

Mexican was ok but not much variety and the Italian was disappointing. Had to send a lasagne back - still fozen in the middle! And the 'large glass of ice cream with chocolate sauce & toasted almonds'? Two tubs & chocolate sauce - no nuts!

It was a little isolated - we used to walk to the edge of Fuengirola - took about 15-20 minutes - but needed the bus to Benalmadena, only 1 euro and well worth the trip.
Most of the staff were great - but the bar staff in the
Piano bar were so slow. It didn't help that there wasn't an easy way to queue there but 20 mins was not unusual to get served. Also going to Spain you do not expect to have wine & Sangria out of a carton!

The entertainers work hard but more variety is needed at night. The two duo's are very good but please - they need to vary their acts they are the same every time. Jason certainly lifts the atmosphere - he had us in stitches.

Would recommend the hotel to anyone with young families - but if we go again we will avoid the Bank Holiday.

The resort was very clean and tidy. The Beach Club was fantastic plenty of pools to be enjoyed by young and old people.

Food choice was excellent with a lot of variety. Mexican and Italian was also ok. There was also a variety of snacks at the pool bar. The only thing is you have got to pay for the food at the beach club although drinks are free.

The entertainment was good but needs more entertainment from outside. there is a lot of activities during the day run by the first choice entertainment team for young and old.

Hotel rooms were excellent they were huge. Fridge was stocked daily with fizzy drinks and water. Bathroom was very big and had a seperate shower.
