The apartment was first class. There were 3 of us and we had a 1 bedroom apartment on the 11th floor, it was very comfortable and lovely and clean. The views were fantastic, the beach at the front, which was just across the road, the pool down below and the mountains at the back. Reception was very helpful regarding local information. The whole apartment block was kept very clean and we noticed that the pool was cleaned every night and morning. I would definitely go back.

Hotel tip: Ask for high floor, the view is fabulous.

Across the road from beach. Great views from upper floors. Ten - 15 minutes walk from La Boliches train station. Studio apartment fine for one week but would prefer one bedroom for longer stay. Decor a bit tired but rooms cleaned everyday and towels changed 3 times during week. Apartment next door being refurbished but workman seemed to choose work hours to suit our absence from the apartment and consequently did not disturb us at all which to us indicated the thoughtfulness of the staff.
Hotel tip: Try La Tasca Andaluza restaurant; intimate, typically Spanish. Excellent menu of the day 8.50 euros; lots of choice, generous portions + complementary olives, bread and liqueur. Ying Ping also very good and reasonable.

Having booked only a few days before going we were wary but our apartment was clean and well equipped, although no electric kettle or toaster provided
We were on 13th floor facing the beach across the main road which whilst being a bit noisy Fri/Sat night it did not disturb us much. We had a couple of maintainance problems but after reporting them to reception were quickly recitfied big surprise as it was Sunday. Just around the corner was a large supermarket which was great for stocking up the fridge but be warned this one doesn't open on a Sunday. Sat.TVs are advertised but have limited english channels. If you don't mind S.C these apt are fine. To access the pool you need to go thru the resturant downstairs, apt guests can dine in this restuarant we found it expensive compared to other places

We have just spent the Christmas in the Stella Maris apartments, Fuengirola.
The hotel is ideally situated on the beach just a few minutes walk from the marina.
Large roomy apartment, plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space small kitchens, newly rebuilt bathrooms
towels changed daily and beds made for us. Large balcony with views along the beach.
No kettle in the apt. when we arrived but a word with reception soon brought a new cordless one. The usual 2 ring electric cooker, no oven but there is a microwave .
The restaurant is privately owned, not belonging to the hotel, and seemed a bit pricey so we didn`t use it. There is a huge supermarcado at the rear of the block so no problem getting supplies in.
Television in the room with BBC 1 & 2. We enjoyed the Stella Maris and would use it again.
