I had a wonderful stay at the Cortijo Blanco hotel, the staff are friendly and it was clean. The entertainment was not too entertaining! However, as a stay at this hotel was very reasonably priced, as we were in Marbella, darling! We didnt mind venturing out of the hotel. We found a bar called Cheers situated right next to the hotel, it is run by an ex holiday rep so also doubles as the local tourist information! This bar is definately worth a visit as it made our holiday.

We found both the hotel and food to be excellent, on arrival we were worried as a couple were in reception complaining about the room they had been allocated but the staff seemed to be very helpful to them and offered a swap immediately so we were relieved when we got to ours to find it very pleasant and clean with lovely solid furniture. Food good and a buffet style which most nationalities catered for. Night time entertainment I cannot comment on as we never made it to the bar in the evening but the daytime entertainers were very pleasant and polite about getting people involved without bugging anyone and all in all felt very safe and secure.

Low key all-inc hotel. We had not been all-inc before but if they are all of a similar standard to this hotel we would go all-inc again. Staff were helpful and entertainment staff always tried - even if at times they were overstretching themselves. Rooms cleaned daily & fresh towels each day. Room a liitle dated.
Only complaint was that it took three requests to get the extra bed for our son.

3 pools and no probs over sun-beds.

Food was your usual international buffet fayre. Plenty of French/Belgian guests present upon our stay.

If you have young children please remenber that a very busy main road is outside the hotel and I echo earlier comments about getting off the bus a stop later and walking back - try to get off at the hotel and you will never cross the road!!!

we spent a week here and were impressed
with the Hotel, only 2/3 storys high & well spread out
very clean & beutiful coutyards & squares set out with orange trees & flowers.
the meals were typical A/I but well cooked a good selection & actually warm
Staff were quite friendly
Because of the weather the entertainment was in the
bar & crap
It's situated next to the main coast road but it wasnt too noisy .a 10 min walk to the nearest beach & a further 5 mins to a decent beach.
There were 4 pubs surrounding the hotel so after 12 was no probs the Irish bar the pick of the bunch
San Pedrows a15 min walk & verry Spanish
PORTO BELUS & MARBELLA A short bus ride
We would certaily visit again

The Hotel Cortijo Blanco was very clean and the food was always cooked well. The satff in the hotel were always very helpful especially if you have small children. We had two babies and they couldn't have been more helpful when you needed a bottle warming etc.
The location was ok but it is on a main road. If you want to catch a bus to Puerto Banus or Marbella, there is a bus stop outside the hotel. However, returning back to the hotel it is advisable to take the bus passed the hotel up to San Pedro and walk back as you will find it very difficult and dangerous getting across the road. By getting off the bus in San Pedro, there is a crossing which is much safer. Buses run like clock work, which was very impressive.
If you want to visit Gibraltar, it is much cheaper catching the bus independantly from San Pedro. Don't waste your money on the Tour Operators trip. The hotel have bus timetables which was very helpful.

We have stayed at the hotel on numerous occasions and have always had a fantastic time.
The place is kept as clean as what it can be, with what appears to be skeleton staff.

We always had plenty of choice in the restaurant and if you smile at the (male) bar staff, they bend the rules to unlimited drinks (as its normally only 2!).

However, the high light of our holiday were the first choice reps... they were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. We put our little girl into the kids club and she loved the girls who ran it.(I think my husband loved them more though, especially the blonde one!!!). They were often to be found at the bar socialising after hours with the holiday makers but were always approachable the next day, with no hangovers in sight!

We stayed in this accommodation. More like prison camp. The hotel pool in the brochure is nowhere near the size of the pool.

Food is veal, veal and more veal, morning, noon and night.

If your get a room near the stage forget about sleeping.

1- because of the so called entertainment.
2- the Karoke bar across the road.
Basic accomodation. Not worth the money.

On arrival at Malaga airport, I was told that I could not stay in the hotel I had booked for the first 3 nights of my holiday and that I was being put in this hotel. I hated every minute of it. I found the staff not at all polite or helpful. The food and entertainment were geared around children. I was put in a tiny room which was damp and smelly. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you want a boozy holiday and don't care about much else.
