Choose a low floor to avoid queuing for lifts.
Very clean and spacious ideal for those who just wamt to get away. not great for kids or those who want some atmosphere. we went at christmas so definatly wanted some fun
single rooms have a large corner balcony with no single supplement.

We had apartment on ground floor next to the small pool. It was very quiet. There is a small garden to sit in as well.

As everyone who visits Carihuela says this is a lovely little place. Love walking along the seafront for miles in either direction. Good transport system - regular train service and plenty of buses (they do tend to all come at the same time though and then none for ages.) We found the bars varied so much in prices and we did feel "ripped off" a few times. Not all places display their prices and those that do can be expensive for anything not on the blackboard.
Yes we will come again to this area but probably get an appartment next time.

as we only here for 3days , cant really say alot on resort, beaches where clean. plenty of shops and bars on front. town is uphill, watch out for the dog mess! again more shops, bars, clubs. it was very quiet at night, not many people about, bars where pretty quiet, still managed to have agood time. sirloin bar, and the shangi chinese nr the hotel served very good food. avoid the tiki bar very expensive, food was rubbish and expensive. overall a good place for a break, and the lovely sunny weather.

No entertainment in the night for families with teenagers,apart from a welsh pub called the vic.Kev & Carole superb hosts.Beach was hard to walk on very stoney near and in the water.No jet skis,pedalos or any beach entertainment.

Torremolinos is now much cleaner than it was on our previous visits, the square was completed just in time for Easter and looks very nice.
The highlight of our holiday was the cable car in Benelmadena , wonderful views and great bird show with eagles and vultures. Dont forget that senior citizens go at childrens rates on this visit.

As you can imagine,the resort is quiet in Feb.
We never ventured too far from the hotel as everything we needed was there,we did go over to Tonys bar,just opposite the hotel for a snack and a drink at luchtime(very reasonable prices).
Considering the storms that we just missed, the resort was in pretty good order,bit of beach debris,but clean up squads were on the job right away,hence the 5 for the beach. Some work going on around the station plaza,so a little messy and noisy,but on the whole still ok to walk around.

I have been to toremolinos several times and have enjoyed my stays. the area is very clean and tidy with things to do and see,plenty of bars and eating places.I will be returning again in the future.

the resort was very clean on the beach front and most of La Carihuela/Benalmadena was very clean. However, moving away from the beach in Torremolinos revealed a less clean area - but this may have been due to it being the end of season.
There was still plenty going on even though a lot of bars, shops and venues had closed for the season.
The beach was kept spotlessly clean but a lot of the sunbeds and parasols were being put away for the winter.
Given all the above we were never bored and would definitely return

This resort has gone downhill, Most places closed down or for sale.May be better in the summer,lots of repaires going on at the moment, pavements and roads. Beach average

First time we have been to the costa del sol, nice shops, best time to go is at 8pm as the town is buzzing!
I was able to walk along to promanarde with no shoes on and not worry, quite clean,
Beach was ok, we liked the tree areas on the beach we just did not want to leave it was perfect for chilling out.
We would go back sometime without the kids so we can spend a bit of adult time, perfect for that too.
