Choose a low floor to avoid queuing for lifts.
Very clean and spacious ideal for those who just wamt to get away. not great for kids or those who want some atmosphere. we went at christmas so definatly wanted some fun
single rooms have a large corner balcony with no single supplement.

We had apartment on ground floor next to the small pool. It was very quiet. There is a small garden to sit in as well.

Resort and beach clean. Nudist beach not very well signposted. Lots of shops and entertainment for all age groups. Second time in this resort but would return again. Only a 10 minute transfer time which was good.

we like this resort and think it best on the costa del sol especially at the quite end of the prom where the melia is located and the lift to the town is great for the "seniors"

Torremolinos is a clean resort with a great beach, however it is boring, very few bars have entertainment,and there are very little English bars.Most of the shops close at 8.30,and the local Spainish bars at midnight.If you want to walk into town you have to get a lift up from the beach (which closes at midnight) or walk up a steep lane.Which if you return this way after dark you do not feel safe.If you want a chill out holiday then you will find it here, however if you are used to somewhere like Benidorm,then Torremolinos is somewhere to advoid

The hotel and resort I stayed in was actually La Carihuela, in between Torremolinos and Benalmadena. Lots of restaurants especially fish, if you are in the that, I am not so did not use them. Long prom that runs between the three resorts. Lots of other restaurants, Chinese, Indian, and some British bars and restaurants.
Resort of La Carihuela I noticed could do with a clean up dirty pavements, lots of excrement lying around. Due to the exchange rate with the £ quite expensive. At night on the prom were sellers, selling handbags. On the beach I got pestered by Masseurs (about 5 in 15 minutes)
Torremolinos wasn't has cosmopolitan as I had imagined. A good marina area at Benalmedena.

on the whole, Torromolinos is a very nice place, it is very geared towards the tourist and we found it difficult to avoid all the "looky looky men" selling the fake sunglasses and watches, at the beach. We never saw any other entertainment advertised around the area, although I am sure there must have been some on somwhere.
The beach's are kept very clean, and it costs 8 euros for 2 sunbeds plus an umbrella for the day, well worth it.
We will be visiting the area again, although may choose a different hotel next time if their idea of an entertaining show stays the same.

We stayed at the quiet end of torremolinos but found it very nice and clean, we will definatly be returning.

Beach was lovely and very quiet,however the kids could not even go for a paddle in the water as it was full of jelly fish.
Very few nice bars and restaurants,just a lot of the cheap & cheerful.

Very clean area to stay in with a lovely flat walk in either way along the prom. Not enough entertainment IMO.

Great beach with lots to do as the weather was really sunny every day we stayed.The bars are very typical of spanish resorts with plenty choice.I found the shopping about the same price as at home,so didn't buy any gifts.Euro was equal to pound at this time.
Only saw 1 beggar who asked for money but didn't pester people.Lots of different nationalities.Will certainly visit this resort again.

Torremolinos is a very clean resort with miles of newly laid promenade which is lovely and flat. Palm trees and freshly laid turf and newly dug gardens line the seafront. The beach is kept clean with litter pickers and tractor going over it every morning. Bars along the seafront are open into the small hours and there is free parking along the promenade too.
