Ask for a room with a balcony that has table & chairs. Rooms at the front will incur some traffic noise as overlook a busy road.

Very clean and spacious ideal for those who just wamt to get away. not great for kids or those who want some atmosphere. we went at christmas so definatly wanted some fun
single rooms have a large corner balcony with no single supplement.

We had apartment on ground floor next to the small pool. It was very quiet. There is a small garden to sit in as well.

I know Torrie is not to everyones taste - but I love it, especially at this time of year where there is a little more of a sedate pace and once you know where to go its a lovely place to spend either for a week or so or even just overnight before heading off to Malaga Airport. (On the whole the main reason why I use the hotel and resort).

Nothing special to say here. Most places we visited in the resort were noticably cleaner than streets in the UK. The beach was spotless and cleaned every night. The resort entertainment was exactly what you would expect find.

The resort has something for all and the beaches are always kept clean.The promenade is especially good for the disabled as it is nearly all on the one level all the way from Benalmadena through to Toremolinos.

Because Torremolinos/Belnamadena is a large resort I expected it to be like Benidorm which I visit frequently, but I found it to have very little entertainment.(It has the advantage that there were no drunks and every one was pleasant and well behaved)
The beach and promenade though were very clean and well laid out with lots of restaurants and shops.

Lovely beach and plenty to do out and about. The railway was the best way to get around the coast.

The resort itself was not too bad.
I myself saw the promenade hosed at least three times.
Entertainment was ok if you were prepared to walk. Beach was lovely except for the flies and the small pebbles as you entered the sea hurt your feet a bit and the water is not clear enough to go snorkelling. The sun loungers were great though quite cheap and very comfortable.
As for going back to this resort we may do but more to the other end nearer Benalmadena far more entertainment there.

The resort is somewhat tired!If you enjoy english pubs and karaoke then it is fine.

Beaches kept to a very high standard. the whole resort was very good. Prom strolls in the evening were fun, all the usual 'looky looky' Indian/Aztec groups and artists all adding to the atmosphere. Great base for cultural trips or just to see the dolphins. In late September I felt like one of the younger promenaders, made me feel good...

Playamar beach is first class but does tend to get busy on weekends with the locals. Great fun when the waves are up. Beach Club is a great location as it's in the quieter part of Torremolinos and is only a short bus/taxi trip into the town.

We found the resport quite expensive on comparison to Fuengirola, but certainly enjoyed the 2 weeks we spent there.
We didn't go to the beach often because the waves were too big & the baby was too small to go into the sea, but the other 2 couples went every day to the beach. We made use of the train & travelled to Fuengirola for the market & the zoo (which was really good), the train only cost about 5 euros each return & the info is in English as well.
We walked to Benalmadena for a look, but it was hard work walking back, definately worth a visit though, but take the taxi back!!
The lift up to the top of the resort was just behind our apartments which was handy. Up the top is where there are loads & loads of shops, bars & endless restaurants.
I would try this resort again because its so close to the airport as well, but I am going to try Fuengirola next year.
