The hotel has a spa, located on the second floor of the hotel next to the indoor pool, which beauty and health treatments can be booked. It is worth asking reception about these on arrival.

Ask for a room with a balcony that has table & chairs. Rooms at the front will incur some traffic noise as overlook a busy road.

We had apartment on ground floor next to the small pool. It was very quiet. There is a small garden to sit in as well.

The resort was lovely with lots of shops, bars, restaurants. The majority of the bars are irish so much of a muchness really, but at the same time a good laugh and cheap drink.
Only thing is you are constantly being hounded by people trying to get you into their bar. They soon get to know your face and leave you alone!

Having spent two weeks in the resort myself and girlfriend were mugged outside the hotel by the beach area on the second night(I WONDERED WHY THEY HAD SECURITY GUARDS OUTSIDE THE HOTEL AT NIGHT TIME )spent nearly half a day at the local police station reporting the crime along with many other fellow tourists, in short mainland spain has a very high crime rate so I would never go back there, I also have herd of many people who have been victimes of crime in Spain,so be careful...we now always go to Greece and have a fantastic time.

been to this resort three times now .always what you could not in full season and have enjoyed the area, the only problem once you get of the front the local people seem to let their dogs treat the pavements like toilets and never clean up after them.

Playa Bajondillo is the nicest area of Torremolinos, very clean, safe and a great beach. Facilities are a bit limited for those after more 'beach sport' but perfect if you want a good family beach with pedalo's.

Resort suitable for all tastes therefore you do your own thing.

Plenty of bars and Restraunts, nice for long romantic walks and good for shopping. Lots of hills and steep steps so not a good place for people with walking difficulties..

The beach is reasonably clean, but it is dark , grainy sand and the sea is rough. The resort is a bit tacky and reminded me of Manchester. It is fairly cheap.

I always thought that Torremolinos was the Benidorm of the Costa del Sol but how wrong can you be.
After 14 days it was like being a hamster on a treadmill with so little to do. There is nothing wrong with the place as such it s just so different from our expectations and is still more traditionally spanish overall.
However the public transport is superb and 1.00 euro gets you to fuengirola or benalmadena which is superb with a lovely marina/promenade,lots of bars and don t forget the bonanza sqare area with lots of bars cafes etc and a pint for 1.50 euros.
Overall,Torremolinos is a nice enough place but don't go expecting a wild time.
