Sea front
Very clean and spacious ideal for those who just wamt to get away. not great for kids or those who want some atmosphere. we went at christmas so definatly wanted some fun
single rooms have a large corner balcony with no single supplement.

We had apartment on ground floor next to the small pool. It was very quiet. There is a small garden to sit in as well.

the resort is very clean every day when i look off balcony there were people cleaning the beach.the sand in some parts was very pebbly but i suppose there not much that can be done about that.

The promenade was kept very clean although there was a fair bit of dogs muck in the back streets.The beach was cleaned every day even though hardly any one was using it due to the time of year.I cant really comment on the resort entertainment as I mainly stayed in the hotel at night.I used the train a couple of times and thought it was very good value.

The resort is spotless, local council out every day, wish that the UK would take heed.
I thought the resort was a little quiet in the evenings, but most probably a lot to do with places closed due to it being christmas. But we walked up to the top most evenings, so it did not spoil the holiday
beach was spotless again, we saw them cleaning it every day, even christmas day.
My husband and I will be back!!!!!

Toremolinos used to have a bad reputation but I do believe it is very different now, admittedly we went in December but I found resort to be clean the walk on the promenade is excellent , one can walk all the way to Benalmadina.
Loades of bars and shops whilst walking along promenade.
If you are on beach front it is a very steep incline up to town centre but there is a lift which operates during daylight hours.
All in all no problems with resort.

RESORT WAS VERY CLEAN, PROBABLY BECAUSE IT WAS NOVEMBER AND QUIET. COULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT IN THE SUMMER WHEN THERE ARE MORE TOURISTS. A NUMBER OF THE BARS WERE STARTING TO CLOSE EARLY BECAUSE OF THE WINTER SEASON AND LACK OF TOURISTS. WE FOUND SOME NICE LITTLE BARS AND CAFES BUT SOMETIMES THERE WERE ONLY THE FOUR OF US IN THEM. I THINK A MONTH EARLIER WOULD HAVE MADE ALL THE DIFFERNCE. SAYING THAT WE CAME ACROSS A BODEGA WHERE THE LOCALS WENT TO DRINK AND EAT TAPAS AND HAD ONE OF THE BEST NIGHTS DRINKING LOCAL SHERRY(LESS THAN 1 EURO A GLASS). WE WERE MADE VERY WELCOME BY THE LOCAL PEOPLE AND WILL GO AGAIN IF AND WHEN WE RETURN.

We were here in November and many of the bars had closed down for their holidays and were due to open the second week in December. So if you crave clubs and night life out of season you would probably be better off going to Benedorm.
If like us you just want a relaxing winter break then this is the ideal location.

The rsort itself has changed since our last visit four years ago. The Marina looks in need of a wash and brush up but most places were clean and tidy. Lots of the beach restaurants were open and there are many bars and cafes to choose from either heading towards Belamadena or in the opposite direction towards Torremolinos. There is an area called La Cuheila just down the promenade which has plenty of shops and bars. Lovely just to walk down and look at the old buildings. The beach was cleaned just about everyday but as it was November not so many people used it. This time of the year it attracts the older generation (me being one of them) but we did enjoy a fortnight of extremely good weather. We would certainly go back to this part of the coast but may try a different hotel not because we didn't like the Pez Espada but you've got to have a change haven't you!

The resort was very quite at this time of the year, but it is still kept very clean and tidy. Weather was very good for the time of year so you could go on the exceptionaly clean beach.
