The hotel has a spa, located on the second floor of the hotel next to the indoor pool, which beauty and health treatments can be booked. It is worth asking reception about these on arrival.

Ask for a room with a balcony that has table & chairs. Rooms at the front will incur some traffic noise as overlook a busy road.

We had apartment on ground floor next to the small pool. It was very quiet. There is a small garden to sit in as well.

we have stayed in torremolinos several times before and have always enjoyed it but had a bad experience this time on our second day my dad went to the toilet in a local bar on the beach front he had had his arm cut and had been pickpoceted he was okay but i am so annoyed that someone could do this to a vunnerable old man the staff were not at all helpful we did not report it to the police my dad did not want any fuss apparently this is happening a lot also bag snatching so be carefulwe will still go to torremolinos but will be more cautious

The pavments were hosed down at least once a week. Lots of discos and clubs and karioke bars. There was also a couple of big entertainment places. The beach was first class.

pleasantly surprised with torromelinos, nice place to walk around in the evening and if you want to get to malaga there is a lift to the side of the melia which takes you up to the town and then a short walk to the train station, much easier than the bus.lots of rubbish washed in with tide which was a bit hard to negotiate when you wanred a stroll along waters edge and it never seemed to be cleaned up we had a lovely time and would definitely return to this area

lovely the sunbed lady we went to daily was polite and very friendly, they washed beds daily and their area was always clean and tidy.
Some areas of Torremolinos are run down, and there is graffitti which is a shame as its a really nice place.
However watch out in Benalmadena theres people there trying to con you with a scratchcard, you obviously win, which means they do, then they want you to go with them on a 2 minute journey, so she can claim her prize while you get yours, it wont take long she says, it turns out to be 20 min journey and then you are expected to stay 90 mins, Dont do it, dont even scratch the card, its all about timeshares, nothing to do with a night out as she said originally, needless to say we left and she didnt get her commission, the people there got a bit touchy and one woman even told us to "pi** off then" if we didnt want to be there, and there was me feeling sorry for her for wanting her commission so bad.Avoid the area its not that special

To be honest, I don't particularly like Torremolinos but we had a good deal with flights / accomodation that assisted our deliberations. I much prefer Benalmadena or Fuengirola.
As it was October, the resort was no where near as crowded as it can be, so that was a bonus. Plus, the weather was nice and that can help to give a better perspective when reflecting on a holiday.
There is plenty to do in the area and public transport is cheap and frequent. Shopping is good in the centre.

Typical resort nicely spread out, the marina is nice with a mixture of shops and bars. Food good standard.
Promenade well maintained, nice and flat good for toddlers walking and in buggies, plenty of ramps.
Lots of dog walkers, majority clean up after themselves.
Plenty of places and drink to eat around the small square. Pretty much same prices as the UK. Lots of hotel choice probably to suit everybodys budget.
