The hotel overall was fairly clean, with our rooms cleaned every day, although the towels seemed to be changed only every other day and sometimes less than that! The airconditioning in the room was good while it was on - between two in the afternoon and two in the morning. The walls were paper thin,so plenty of screaming children were to be heard all hours of the day and night (luckily we had invested in some ear plugs before travelling).
More distressing than this was the fact that certain areas of the hotel often smelt of vomit, especially the bar!
The internet photos of the hotel are quite deceptive as it is surrounded by other large hotels on all sides.
Although there are some beaches approximatley 400 m from the hotel they are set in very small rocky alcoves which are accesable by a number of steep steps with no ammenities.
The hotel is located halfway between the main beaches of Salou(overcrowded) and Le Pineda(less built up),which are easily accesible by the local bus, which picks up and drops off at the bottom of the road from the hotel, very regularly, (although the price often fluctuated depending on the driver!)
The food was palatable enough although it seemed to run on a three or four day rotation,I would imagine anyone staying longer than a week would get a bit fed up with it. There was quite a large choice and probably what you would expect for a three star hotel.
The desserts left a lot to be desired unless pink blamange and jelly happen to be your thing.
The entertainment bordered on the realms of mental torture with bingo and a quiz every night with a costant barrage of noise emmiting from the bar / pool area from mid morning untill the early hours. Im sure 'Paul & Christina' were doing their best with the crackly and overloud PA system and music which seemed to consist solely of the village peoples "YMCA", Katie Melua's "Closest thing to crazy" (- Indeed!) and the unbelievably annoying "Startrekking accross the Universe".
Needless to say by the end of the holiday I could have quite happily cut out 'Paul & Christinas' tongues and lobbed them along with the cd player into the pool! All I can say is thank God the drinks were free even if they were seved in jagged plastic glasses!
As for the hotel staff words cannot fully describe how thoroughly unfriendly, sullen and unhelpful they were (apart from the lovely lady in the hotel shop who was more helpful about bus times ,taxis and local information than the entire reception staff put together).
It was hard to escape the feeling that they dislike the british guests immensly and give more favourable treatment to the spanish guests.

Excellent location, close to bus stops, with easy access to Salou and La Pinela.
Staff friendly and helpful, superb entertainment.
Would definitely visit again

The staff were generally helpful with the exception of the reception.
I am disabled and use a mobility scooter, the pool and bar/entertainment was on the lower ground, a total of 20 steps, but for the kindness of my fellow guests who carried the scooter down and up the stairs my holiday would have been a complete disaster.

The beer and other spirits tasted ok and was well stocked. The pool area was nice, but if you wanted to get a sun bed, then you would need to get up early, as their was none ever spare, and the play ground for the children was ok too.
The hotel was in a nice location, their were beaches just minutes from the hotel, and the hotel was not far from Salou Town Centre and Port Adventura. Their was a bus stop right outside, and cabs on hand all the time.
The entertainment was a big let down, their needs too be more variety.
Overall we found the hotel to be ok, the staff were very hard working and pleascent, and we had a really nice holiday and would go back again.

the hotel was very clean with linen & towels changed daily. the location was ok but the photos of the hotel on the internet are incorrect as there are hotels to both sides of the hotel now.
the staff on reception and in the restaurant were quite rude unless you were spanish. however the bar staff were very friendly.
the entertainment was not very good unless you wanted to play bingo every night and the main entertainment never started until about 10.30 which we felt was quite late if you had children. there was also not much entertainment in the daytime which it did say on the internet.

The hotel cleanliness was ok, not the best. When you came into the restaurant from the pool there was a funny smell.
The rooms were supposedly cleaned every day although the towels weren

The food was not very nice. Snacks consisted of the square burgers and sausages and chips, lettuce tomatoes onions slices of cheese and ham (flies on the ham). There was a choice of various salads and hot meals for dinner, I am not a fussy eater but none of our party could eat the selection on any of the days and spent an absolute fortune having to eat out. Very puzzling was the layout of the crockery, plates, drinks etc people were running up and down the restaurant for a knife and fork then up the other end for a dish then back down the other end for a spoon, up one end for the cups and saucers (if you could find any) then once you got your drink, down the other end for the milk (at breakfast, check it is cold because on several occasions they appear to put out boiled milk only) not nice on cereals. Scambled eggs were awful!!! Sausages awful!!! fried eggs good!!! bacon very fatty!!!
Oh, and it takes forever to cook toast when you finally get to the machine after queueing for ages.
Staff behind the bar, very friendly, reception staff ok, lady in the shop very nice. Staff in restaurant not do not even smile or acknowledge. Entertainment staff appear to work very hard and long hours and do a very good job with the children.
Unfortunately we were on the ground floor (very near reception area) it was not safe to sit on the balcony as people above were ringing out towels etc straight onto our balcony, we had people being sick onto our balcony, pieces of bread and crisp wrappers and at one point an ashtray was dropped down, glass everywhere, also some children from the hotel opposite saw fit to fire beebee gun pellets at our hotel. That's how near they are!! Not hotels fault, just people's ignorance and disrespect for others.
Apart from the very very thin walls where every word and other things could be clearly heard, the noise was horrendous from the entertainment right below and then people going back to their rooms seem to echo right through the building. When our hotel entertainment finished, the entertainment from the hotel opposite started, until well into the early hours of the morning and was extremely loud. Also their rooms are directly opposite and looked straight into ours. So don't walk around naked in your room without closing the curtain. I did find a slight solution for the noise problem on the last night, the pillows on the bed are very long and can fit around the head if you can hold it in place whilst you try and sleep.
The entertainment usually started around 9ish, ok if you like bingo/quiz's. As we ate out every evening we only got to hear the din after the entertainment. All in all will not be returning to this hotel.

The Entertainment was ok, but the Sound system kept cutting out when Paul and Cristina were trying to talk through it,Best thing was the fire eater one night, and the snake dancers.Apart from that if you like Bingo at 6 euros a go twice a day the entertainment wasnt good.
I most deffinately will not be back to Hotel Molinos Park,

we went back to molinos, the next day and was very happy with our room, the only problem was the walls were paper-thin and was woken up by neighbours snoring and when somebody knocked their door, i thought it was ours!.
the food was basic, and repeated quite alot we couldn`t look at chips back home for a few days, the chicken legs were the best and also the bread was nice, we wouldn`t recommend the egg soup (looked like something else!), also the cooks need to cut down on the cocoa powder for the chocolate mousse, totally unedible, the staff were friendly in the restaurant although very rushed and in the way a bit.
the location of the hotel was very central to the beach, a walk away to salou town centre and buses run just outside the hotel, lots and lots to do, especially for adults with children, only thing was the steep hills, and mothers with baby`s and the disabled would find it a little difficult.
we found the hotel very clean and had fresh towels everyday, the hotel staff were very friendly and also patient with guests queries and concerns. the bar was always free, no queues and the drinks were very satisfactory.
entertainment was a bit of a let down, we felt it was more fun for the children, should have an after hours `fun` time out for the adults!!.
overall we would come back again, but maybe either half board (if available) or self catering, a superb break away and definetely worth the money.
