Location
The food was pretty basic, but there was plenty of it.
The pool area is pretty bad to be honest - it's very small with chairs rather than loungers - the cleanliness at the start of each day was fine - its the other guests that leave it looking like a bombshell has landed by the end of the day.
The entertainment was pretty dire for a couple, but I can see how it would appeal to families with young children.
The rooms were adequate - we had been warned about the thin walls so earplugs did the trick nicely! The drainage is a problem though - every afternoon the sewers smelt pretty badly so you need to keep the toilet lid down and the bathroom door shut.
The hotel and package was fine - its just the guests who over indulged on the free booze all day long, allowed children to run riot and cant place their rubbish in a bin who spoilt it for us.

All the kids (14,11,10,9,8,8,7) were well catered for. Main meals really tasty, and plenty of choice. Snack bar kids favourites (burgers, sausage, chicken nuggets etc and of course chips) but also salad and fruit aplenty.
All staff helpful and friendly. Entertainment staff try there best with the limited space. Show every night, fire eater, dancers, parrots,Miss Salou etc as well as quiz, bingo kids games and dances.
Being an all inclusive hotel was ideal for us, drinks, meals and entertainment all in one place saved me a bomb!!!
Rooms cleaned daily and all have tv hairdryer and balcony.
The entertainment was aimed at families, which not so good if your looking for a relaxing break as could get noisy at times.
The hotels location is just a short bus ride away from Salou centre, but we only went there once as the kids were more than happy in the kids club, pool and park to want to go out.
Small beach cove just down the road is lovely with pedaloes. Waterpark a great day out for all the family.
Overall the hotel is a great place if your looking for a no frills, fun, family holiday.
We are going back again in Sept with mam, brother and five more kids coming along too. We must be mad but know everyone will have a great time.
Please dont be put off by some of the reviews it is a bit cheap and cheerful but we had a great time so as long as your not expecting THE RITZ you should have a really nice family holiday.

After we had booked it I have to say I was a bit worried!! But on arriving the outside of the hotel looked very nice as did the reception area.
We arrived at about 10am checked in but couldn't have the keys to our room until 12, which didn't bother us as it gave us chance to have a look around more.
The bar area is very big and most of the staff were very nice and friendly, offering a very good choice of alcoholic beverages and the bar was open from 10am till 1am.
In Al the entertainment was what you made it some nights being better than others, the quiz and bingo every night did get a bit boring! Zzzz but in my opinion you have to cater for all ages. The Entertainers were very good with the children keeping them occupied in the day with various activities and also at night they were included early on.
The food in the hotel was very good plenty of choice you definitely would not go hungry, although main meal times there is not a lot for children, mine preferred the snack times... but they are fussy eaters!
The hotel rooms are very basic and in my opinion could do with a lick of paint but they serve their purpose. The people on reception were very helpful as well.
The location of this hotel is quite nice although it's not in the centre of Salou there is a bus stop right outside so it was very easy to get about, failing that reception would call you a taxi.
If I decided to go back to Salou for another holiday I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was a little bit noisy but all in all good value for money.
The entertainment was ok if you like going to Butlins! but hey each to his own. The entertainment staff were very helpful and friendly and tried their best.
The location is rubbish if you want to spend any money, bus journey into town but even the main town of Salou wasn't that great.
The food wasn't too bad, loads of choice so you shouldn't go hungry.

The entertainers were pretty bad though and the walls were really thin.
The food could have of varied a bit more but apart from that the bar man was well nice!!!
I really want to go back.

The food served is ok, everyday at meal time there is a selection of meats, salad and potatoes/chips. But at "snack time" chips, sausages, burgers and salad are available. Breakfast was the most enjoyable meal offering a full English breakfast or cheeses and meats. They offer a picnic option for lunch time if you are not on the grounds, this included a ham sandwich, solami roll, yoghurt and fruit! This must be ordered beforer 20:00 the night before.
The hotel is 3-4 mins walk (downhill)to a small local beach with sun loungers and pedlos available, alternativley buses are quite regular into salou town if you want to enjoy a bit of souvenir shopping, a larger beach and watersports. (banana boat/water-skis etc).
There are a few bars and restaurants within a 5 minutes walk which we visited although I get the impression the main night life (if thats what you are after) is in the town itself.
Hotel staff are friendly enough and all enlgish speaking. The entertainment is repetitive, quiz followed by bingo followed by special cabaret enertainment(this is different every night but very short!) followed by cheesy pop music played on old stereo system. The children are then invited onto the dance floor to perform the dance routines to cheesy songs with hotel rep. The young Kids seemed to enjoy it anyway!!!!

Most of the staff in the hotel were ignorant, especially the bar staff and the receptionists. I exclude the maids, restaurant staff and the lady in the hotel shop who were nice. The bar area was absolutely filthy as were the glasses. Anyone visiting should look at the bar floor for all the proof they need!! We were served in paper cups which was OK but even these were dirty.
The pool area was very cramped. There were about 30 sun beds for about 200 people. After the third day we went to neighbouring hotels so we could lie down and sunbathe even though we had paid for all inclusive in the Molinos.
We were placed in a room and given two camp beds for the children to sleep on. Our room was the same size as every other room in the hotel so it was very, very cramped. We heard other people complaining of the same thing.
The food in the hotel was quite good although the restaurant was very busy and it was like being in a works canteen.
The hotel was situated about 3 miles from Salou which meant either catching a bus or taxi daily. This was a pain with two small children.
We took the advise of previous reviews and took ear plugs with us. If you go to the Molinos then please do not forget to do this!! Noise in the hotel at night is dreadful.
Areas of the hotel do as previous reports suggest smell of vomit all the time. This is noticeable all the time in the reception and in the bar. We met some friends whilst we were there who paid to return to the UK two days early because they were appalled.
Sorry to anyone who has booked and its too late to change your minds but this if by far the worst hotel that we have ever visited!

The reception area was clean and the staff were friendly.
The bar area was dirty and smelly. To get to the bar and the pool area you had to go down 27 steps, which was a nightmare with prams, the elderly and people with walking difficulties found this a big problem.
The pool area was too small and not enough beds (only 30 beds)and again was not very clean.
The dining area was clean but always seemed too busy to cater for everyone. The food was very good.
The location of the hotel was a problem as it is situated on a hill and took approx 30 minutes walk to Salou town centre, buses were available every 5 minutes but were always busy, this was a problem with 3 children in 3 prams.
Packed lunches were available if you were going out for the day but you have to order them at reception before 8pm.
The hotel staff were all very friendly.
The entertainment included a quiz and bingo every night, we saw 2 shows within the week which only lasted approx 20 minutes and the music played the same songs every night.
1 week was enough 2 weeks would have been too much.
Overall the hotel was not that bad, we had an enjoyable holiday with plenty of free drinks and food. I probably would not stay in the hotel again unless it was a bargin !

There was a funny smell in the bar and reception but nothing really offensive. The bathroom smelt quite a bit but we met a plumber who told us it was because the bidets weren't used and therefore the pipes weren't flushed out. So our tip is to fill your bidet up every now and again and tadaaaaa no smell! The rooms were cleaned and tidied to a high standard every day. The only mess we saw was created by other hotel guests and kids (spillages/stuffing whole toilet rolls down toilets etc) The staff tried their hardest to keep up with the mess created by disrespectful guests and all credit to them.
The food was exactly what it was meant to be - mass produced canteen style. Having said that we never went hungry and always found something to eat. There is a very good selection and catered for children really well in my opinion. There was always a great selection of fresh fruit everyday too and the ice creams were good too! With regular snack times in between main meals it is impossible to complain of hunger. We did hear people complaining about the food at meal times, yet funnily enough they were the same people who had their plates piled high!
The location is ideal, it's out of the way but not too far away from anything. The bus service Plana is reliable, cheap and regular. From outside the hotel you can go to Salou, Cambrils, La Pineda, Tarragona and Barcelona. You can walk to Salou but it's about 30 minutes each way up and down hills and a lot of unmade pavements. We did it once! The area is quiet at night - the only noise being from the "entertainment" and other guests who have no respect for anyone else.
All the hotel staff were absolutely fine and considering what they had to put up with deserving of medals. I was ashamed to be English some times the way guests spoke to the bar staff for no good reason. The reception staff were always helpful and can provide lots of information on trips and places to visit. The cleaner even had a friendly Hola for us each morning.
The Entertainment - ahem well the all inclusive drink helped!! It was dreadful but it was there and better than nothing! It was very how can I say this without sounding like a snob, poorman's working men's club. It was bearable and had me giggling a few times. The only problem was that there wasn't anywhere you could go to get away and have a drink. And don't try going to bed early as until the entertainment has finished and your fellow guests have lumbered back to their rooms there is no chance of any peace.
We would go back because of the price. The only problem with this hotel is the people who go who have no respect for others including the staff. Take your earplugs, take advantage of the packed lunch and visit the many wonderful towns around the hotel and come back have some food and go down to the bar and take it for what it is - cheap and cheerful. Oh and be careful the spirits are very large measures - more vodka than orange - not a problem of course!!
Go with the right attitude and respect your fellow guests and you'll have a great time. Remember a friendly Hola or Gracias goes a long way with the staff especially if you say in Catalan.
