We arrived at 2.30am after a very long transfer, as soon as we arrived at the hotel we were offered food. The hotel looks impressive, we changed our room for one with a sea view (which we had to pay extra for) and then we had a problem with the air con in our room which took two days to sort out and even then it wasn't great. Beware of mossie's rife at night.
Being on an all inclusive I found it strange that we had to pay for the bottled water, you can top it up from the poolside self service (soft & hot drinks only). But you were not supplied with water on your arrival.
Overall I didn't much care for the food in the all inclusive buffet, it was pretty much the same thing for the entire holiday most of the meat on offer was very poor cuts and fatty even the chicken, my husband enjoyed the fish and that was pretty much it, but even he had enough of the same thing not much taste to anything we tried.
The only thing I really enjoyed was the paella and that was only served once. The soup on one occasion was okay (it didn't have a film of grease on the surface).
The cleanliness of the pool left a lot to be desired as my husband and I ended up with ear infections as did some of the other guests. Not nice especially when you have an upset tummy as well.
The beach was raked every morning and the sea when calm was lovely and clear but watch out for the jelly fish, they do sting, as my husband found out.
The hotel staff throughout were brilliant very helpful and always smiling.
Our room was cleaned every day.
The bar situation was bizarre from 5pm until 6pm there was nowhere open to get a drink of any kind.
There is not a beach bar, it is based beside the pool overlooking the beach but not on the beach.
The animation team were superb and brilliant with all the children they didn't seem to stop working as the restaurant and bar staff.
Taxi's are right outside the hotel you will never have a problem finding one if you did want to venture out approx 3-5dinar to the Medina. Its about 15-20 minutes away in a cab
Although all the staff at the hotel were really pleasant and very helpful and we found the beach location amazing we would not re-visit this hotel. Due to the illnesses that we had on the last 4 to 5 days of our 11 day stay it completely ruined our holiday

We arrived at the hotel at 3.00a.m!! Very tired. We were offered food and drink as soon as we walked through tyhe door. No paperwork to fill in we were just given our keys and led by the manager himself to ourt room.
The hotel is spotlessly clean, beds made every day and linen and bathroom towels changed regularly.Pool towels provided and changed daily.
The staff were fantastic, always helpful and friendly. My daughter cried when we left, (she tought one of the entertainment staff to count and say a few phrases in welsh)
The entertainment staff worked hard to keep everyone who wanted to be involved involved but there was no pressure to join in.The evening entertainment was a little amuturish but ther same staff were expected to work all day.
We would visit the hotel again if the parents who allowed their children to run wild were a little more thoughtful.
I was pushed over by two english lads who ran around the hotel like deamons for two weeks.

This holiday was our first trip to Tunisia, so we only went half board as we didnt know what to expect. The hotel was fine, clean and tidy, but perhaps could have done with a fresh coat of paint internally, this wasnt a problem though.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and greeted you off the transfer coach with a smile and a lovely cool non alcoholic drink-mmm.
The room was spacious, clean and tidy, and the maids came in to clean each day, replacing towels and bed linen. The corridors leading to the rooms are dark, but this is normal in Tunisia as shade is a luxury so dont let this put you off if youve read this in other reports!
The food was fine with plenty of variety. You could sit anywhere for breakfast and lunch, but they liked you to sit in the same place at evening meal which was ok I suppose.
The only thing we didnt like was that the evening tables were close together so you had no privacy when talking as the people at the next table were too close, this was a little annoying.
The location of the hotel was on the beach front, but in a residential area. Not much around at night if you ventured outside without catching a taxi.
This didnt bother us though as we were happy to stay hotel based. Tunisia is a cheap country at the moment, and we would definately return to this hotel in the future.

We stayed in June this year and found this hotel to be excellent in every respect excepting the location which is slightly away from the main tourist area, but only a 15 minute walk or

Arriving at 11.00pm after setting of from Guernsey at 7.00am made it a long day, and the 90 min transfer from the airport did not help. However entering the hotel completly changed my mood.
First you were given a cool long drink, then told don't worry about filling in forms till the next day, and also they had left the Restaurant open for us!
The hotel staff are the friendliest I have ever encountered, and the manager spoke to me and shook my hand a few times every day of our weeks stay.
I am a foodie and dislike hotel food, I love eating in restaurants so all inclusive was a culture shock so I thought. Well I loved every single buffet meal, the food was always fresh, and being cooked as you waited so nothing was left to long in serving dishes.
Drinks on tap all day was also a fantastic bonus, not having to worry about having money with you, althought we tipped our favorite staff at the end.
There were games around the pool all day if you wanted to join in, Boule, archery, darts, aqua fit! And most night some thing was going on in the ballroom, we just sat in the lovely lobby drinking with new found friends most nights. We felt so at home at El Kebir.
We will definatly go back probably next march, as we came back with great tans even after a week.

A lovely Hotel well run and maintained. Friendly staff who seemed genuinally pleased to have us there. The staff were very kind and friendly to our two children.
Hotel location was poor - there is nothing in the immediate vicinity, although taxis are very cheap.
Entertainment was OK but if fairness the hotel was less that half full and mainly 'older' generation. Therefore there was little demand for games etc during the day and to compound this the weather was unseasonly poor.
Overall - good value for money. Top quality food but a bit tiresome of the continued buffet style. Perhaps one of two evenings of table service would break the week up and give some variety.

The Hotel was fantastic. The sea view we paid for was out of this world. The whole hotel was clean and tidy and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff (including the Management) to help you with. The food catered for just about every tast imaginable and could have fed the hotel next door as well there was that much! The hotel was in a fairly quiet location approx 2km outside Hamammet Centre however, taxis were available as soon as you got to the front gate and were extremely cheap. Entertainment was available both during the day and the evening. I would most definitely go back to this hotel, the sooner the better!

Excellent hotel very clean. Food was to suite all tastes staff very friendly and helpful.
The entertainment team are very young and enthusiastic but could do with an older person to guide them through their acts as they tended to do alot of break dancing in the evening shows and mimed to all the songs but during the day they got everybody involved in the games etc.
If you go there you will not need to leave the hotel every thing you could want is catered for and your right on the beach

The Hotal was beautiful with breath taking views of the sea.
The standards of the hotel cleanliness was fantastic and food standards were fabulous.
The entertainment was much enjoyed and appreciated by my sister and I. The entertainment catered for all ages and the evening entertainment was classy and humourous at times. The talent of the entertainers was very evident and at their age commendable.
Our family will be returning to this hotel next year and are already counting down the days till we are there again to appreciate the many facilities the hotel provided.
The staff were all friendly and approachable and were always smiling which was wonderful to see.
We came away from Park El Kebir with many new friends and inspired by the beautiful presentation of the beautiful country that is Tunisia.
