Not quite sure where to start! This was a holiday from hell. I have never been so glad to get back home. When we first arrived our room was`nt ready for us, we had to wait an hour in reception. Then when we did get our room we had to wait two hours for a extra bed to be deliverd to our room. The carpets were filthy there was vomit up the wall tiles in the bathroom. There was no entertainment. We segregated from full board people on the Thursday that we`d been with all week and told we could no longer drink with them we had to go down stairs. (which was cold and dark!)The food was recycled. Two of my party had bad stomaches for twenty four hours. I for definate would NOT visit this hotel again. Considering it had four stars it was more like a two and thats with a push!

this is the third time we stayed in this hotel and will be coming again. the food is abandunt and very good. the staff is very helpful. although we don't speak french we don't expect staff to speak to us in maltese or english but they still do their best to communicate with us. the entertainment was better in the previous years, the karaoki is boring and the ballroom dancing night is not very popular. the maintanace team doesn't seem to be very efficient we called them three times to open a blocked basin with no success even though i suggessted what they should do, finally i had to do it myself.

Stayed here seven years ago has slipped in standards since then. Very small proportion of guests are English so the entertainment is not geared for us.
When you visit the dining room be brave be very very brave it is not for the faint hearted. So many guests all trying to eat at the same time ,lots of pushing and shoving.
Seemed to always be plenty of vegeatables (not very hot)though, but consider yourself lucky if you found meat to go with them waiters as always try to be helpful and cheery but that is'nt always enough when basicaly all you want is a decent meal.
I do not think that this hotel is worthy of 4 stars.

First impression when you drive up to this 4* hotel in the dark it doesn't look too bad, this was the first and last time we thought that.
Reception - We were greeted by a haze of smoke and noise not the calm and tranquil setting you would expect. There is no control on smoking although it clearly states NO SMOKING this was ignored by all. The reception staff were friendly enough when you could get hold of one a hard task when 20 people are trying to get room keys and only one person is working!
The Room - Dated, dirty, broken and noisy that about sums it up, oh and no hair dryer for the ladies.
Dated - the decor is very old and shabby.
Dirty - although the bed linen was clean the rest of the room was filthy walking around on the carpet left you with what only can be described as half the Tunisian beach stuck to the bottom of your feet.
Broken - the toilet 9 time the repair man was called out.
Noisy - the entertainment was only a stones throw away and didn't we know it.
The Dining Room - Breakfast and dinner was a "free for all" there was no organisation at all, it seated 1500 people and every time you were in there it seemed like they were all in with you. Supply and demand could not be maintained no sooner as a dish of food had been brought out it was gone, so if you had a complete meal were the lucky one. Food quality and choice was well below average what was not eaten in the evening seemed to appear in the morning for breakfast in some shape or form, you have got to admire there imagination for some of the concoctions. Waiting staff were outstanding very friendly always ready to help. Smoking in here is a problem to there is no consideration for any non smokers.
The Pool - Alarm clocks were set at 6am sharp to get a sun bed these seem to be in short supply. Cushions for the sun beds are for hire 2 dinars each. 4 pools at the hotel the indoor pool was out of order for cleaning. Water polo, aqua aerobics and inflatable's are the order of the day.
Entertainment - Catered for our European cousins no word of English was spoken during our brief stay with the entertainers. The music was not that loud but the bass was turned so far up that you internal organs started to rattle not good at all.
Location - It's just out of the main town about a 5 min taxi ride away which cost 4 dinars. there are plenty of taxi's just at the top of the hotel no waiting around for one. The Marina it's self was very beautiful plenty of places to eat, drink and shop you must barter for all your goods though don't let then intimidate you.
Well to sum up this had to be the worst holiday we have ever been on there is no way that this could ever be classed as a 4 star hotel. I have since written to Panorama to tell then to take there star rating off this hotel.

This is definitely not a four star hotel - as described in Panorama brochure - I have stayed in better hotels despite their lesser ratings. The hotel could not provide a double bed despite prior request. Had to complain several times about air conditioning. Worst was the same music repeated every night. Three nights of loud, all night beach parties did not allow peaceful sleep. If passive smoking is a problem for you then you will want to know that there is no control over people smoking in very few no-smoking areas and the restaurant. Very basic furnishings and charge for beach beds of 2 dinars (

Everything about this hotel was dire!!
We didnt even stay to sample the food. We were expecting a four star hotel and at reception were directed (wrongly) outside to where music was pumping, the sun loungers had no cushions and the decor was poor. Past this was rows and rows of "bungalows with terrace". These were very poor quality tiny chalets, the smell of which hit you as you opened the door! the terrace was just a solid wall in front of your window with two plastic chairs! How this could rate as a 1 star accommodation I dont know!
On insisting to move hotels (to the magnificent El Hana Palace for an upgrade of about
