Food at the hotel was at set times which I was not expecting after visiting other all inclusive hotels food is readily available when desired as this is what your paying for or so I thought.
It was very repetetive and I certainly felt like a bowl of rice when I returned home as that was the only thing or the pasta and sauce which I must add was on every night for dinner was the only thing that looked safe to eat.I did listen a some gossip of cats going missing in the area and I have certainly never seen chicken the colour or way they make it,I certainly was not trying it!!
You could gaurantee what was on for dinner the night before was served again at lunch the next day but in a different sauce or under a different name.
Hotel location was unbeleivably remote apart from near to airport that was the only thing going on around there and as soon as you went out of the hotel grounds you wee swamped with people offering to sell you things or to have a ride on there horse and carraige.
Hotel Staff were on the whole ok but Ali Baba was certainly the most annoying and arrogant and would not leave you alone untill you had gone on his trips he had to offer. In which I did in the first few days went on the camel rides which in my opinion was a total con and disaster and certainly was not going on any other trips he had to offer, although he did not give up!!!
Entertainment was alright but could of been better as there was nothing else to do outside the hotel the entertainment should of been first class.
I certainly will not be visiting this hotel nor Tunisia again and after booking a two week stay but came home after the first week as I could not physically endure a second week here and my baby's stomach also could not of managed another week.

The food was very European and did not really accommodate UK residents accustomed taste buds and therefore was not appreciated by the majority of UK citizens, especially the children, as no cereals are available.
The only other option is "good British toast" "However" When dining "avoid the toaster" as it is set very low and it can take up-to 10 browning sessions or 10 minutes to toast a slice of bread "yes 10 minutes", every meal time people would turn the toaster up to prevent waiting times and dangerous queues to which waiting staff would then turn the machine speed and temperature back down, this would cause many arguments with the waiting staff every day leaving most families with kids wreathing in temper and kids without toast.
The hotel Bar, pool, and animation staff were all excellent, very friendly and helpful.
The reception staff were lacking in local knowledge IE. outside attractions, restaurants and such.
Inside the hotel are excursion reps, avoid the one outside the main dining area as he has a tendency to grab the females and give verbal abuse if a polite "NO" or "La Shukran" is replied which is quite frightening.
The A La Carte was a complete shambles for us, medium rare steak came tough as old boots and a boneless chicken came like it had just been ripped from the victim which turned out to be a bony leg..ugh, however other guests had a more positive experience..hit and miss I reckon.
The other British guests were great and made the whole experience a joy though we would not revisit this resort again...sadly.
The hotels 2nd language is french as is most of Tunisia..looks like my school days have paid off at last.

The food was catered more for the French/Germans/Italians (in my opinion), saying that it was all very tasty apart from the desserts that looked really great but were tasteless really. In the second week the menu was repeated so it may seem repetitive!
The cleanliness of the Hotel was generally excellent and the maid service was second to none. The only bad comment I would make would be that the general toilets were not as clean as they should be.
The location was ok I suppose but, it would have been better to be directly onto the beach but it was no hassle really to cross the road and walk through the Neptunia. Yes you were near the Airport but not all that near that it would spoil your stay and very rarely you would hear any aircraft.
The Hotel staffs came across very polite but were in no rush! Apart from the outdoor pool manager who looked like Saddam Hussein (minus the beard) and came across very aggressive if you did things he deemed wrong e.g. Sandals near the pool edge (do this at your own risk you have been warned!). Remember Tunisian men like the girls and will try everything to get you into bed! They will have different girlfriends every week and probably have lots of girlfriends.
The pool area is fantastic and is a very big!
The Entertainment team (Animation Team) were very, very friendly and a credit. They would try to involve all guests in the activities and work lots of hours a day generally 7 days a week. The evening entertainment can sometime be risqu

The animation team were the most hard working group of lads and the hotel should be very proud of their hard work and dedication to the customers.
The hotel was clean and the food was very good, so anyone that has read the bad reports , please don't worry we had a brilliant holiday and will return again.

Me and my boyfriend arived late at night but were greeted a reception with a warm welcome a drink and a snadwich with was a nice offer.
The next morning we went down 2 breakfast and were very shocked on your way into breakfast you will be greeted with people trying to sell you beauty treatment, get you 2 join in games oh yes and a camel ride (oh one word of advice just go on this trip because they wont leave you alone till you do but its a laugh)
Once we had our breakfast, we made our way to the pool where lots of people were telling us horror stories DO NOT LISTEN. Yes be careful when you leave the complex but we went to Port el Kantoui it is lovely. People do pester you when you are out but just say no.
We never left the hotel on a night as there was no need there was plenty of entertanment on in the hotel plus we met some fab people.
Anyway on to the entertanmet staff they made our holiday. They are so funny and make everyone feel welcome. I even helped then do there make up for one of the their shows.
The entertanment team are FAB FAB FAB ( nino patrico jo kimo mr hello baby ect....)
On your return home stand outside and wait for your transfer as they do not come into the hotel and look for you as we discovered when we got left behind!
but this is one of the best holidays we have had i cryed when i left so will defo be returning later in the year

The drinks in the all inclusive bar are disgusting, and the choice is very limited. It closes at 10pm on the dot, and if you want any more drinks you have to pay.
Also, don't go for the beauty treatments as the beautician sliced my friends foot open with a razor and she had to go to hospital!!
Negativity aside though, if you have kids, the Animation team are brilliant!! The best guy there is called Aymen, but everyone calls him Mr Hello (don't ask). He is truly amazing with children and has a degree and everything, but the hotel only pay him 80 dinars a month (about
