Although the hotel is in no mans land it is as easy as tripping over a stone to get to Sousse or Monistir. We used cabs outside the main gate.
Food was excellent but as stated by others at brekkie not an all English in sight. Go for scrambled egg on toast. Evening meals brilliant, counted 15 dessert choices and no upset tummies all holiday.
All been said in previous reports. A lovely hotel. Use the spa and have a hammam and massage, brilliant.
However what hasn't been mentioned is the fact that Tunisia has a closed currency policy. You can change money at this hotel but only cash for cash. No cards, in fact you can only use your plastic once when you leave the hotel, so charge whatever you like to the room ie. spa, drinks, etc and save your cash for money exchange.
Remember you cannot take Tunisian money out of the country, the customs men at the airport ask for any DT money and may search you all Dinars found are confiscated. So remember to change cash little and often.

As stated in other reviews, apart from being very close to the airport (with noise most definitely not a problem), this hotel is in the middle of nowhere, there are no shops or bars within reasonable walking distance at all. A taxi into Monastir will cost you 6 dinars, the drivers are very friendly and helpful.
Cleanliness is excellent, with rooms cleaned every day. The chambermaid will visit at about 8.30 to take your towels, and they are not replaced until lunchtime - so make sure you put the 'Do not Disturb' sign on your door at bedtime, although they do have an unfortunate tendency to ignore this, and burst in you while you're still in bed!
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but the balcony chairs are very uncomfortable and you will not want to sit out for long!
Food in the evening was excellent, although after a week we were suffering from buffet fatigue. What did let the hotel down foodwise was the breakfasts. We are not the type of holidaymakers who expect a 'full English', but the hot buffet often had stone cold food on display, which was very unappetising. We stuck to scrambled eggs or omelettes in the end.
We didn't use the pool area, but went on the neasch every day. It's a beautiful beach, we were always able to get sunbeds where we wanted, and the beach attendants were very helpful and friendly, bringing mattresses to us without being asked.
Food at the barbecue next to the beach was excellent, and reasonable value for lunchtime, although with a rather linited menu, the 'briqs' are delicious - a must!
Beware of the man carrying the kettle! He will give you a glass of mint tea, as if it's a sign of hospitality, and then ask for your money - VERY expensive; our one and only argument with a member of staff! The hotel staff are very friendly, and work long hours for a pittance. Bar service is best described as 'relaxed', in other words you may have to wait a little longer than you expect to quench your thirst! Some of them struggle with English, most seem to be more fluent in French, but if a member of staff didn't understand us, he asked a colleague to assist him.
We went on Thomson's 'Tale of Three Cities' tour, good value at around

Food was excellent - a mixture of French and Tunisian but don't expect it to be exactly the same as home - if you want fried breakfast and burgers go somewhere else. They do some pork which given their religion is appreciated.
The staff will help you if you are interested in the local food and become far more friendly if you ask for advice with things you do not recognise (but the lablabi was too much for me!)
Animation team are so enthusiastic (especially "sexy Bobby" - his description!) They are really good with kids and it is refreshing to see English and French kids running over to cuddle them. They really seem to be enjoying themselves and will sing or dance just for fun. The waiters also really like young kids.
If you want to go to Monastir, try the train-dead easy, a bit primitive but a return is 1DT (50p).
We can't fault the Thompson reps, Sophie and Jo-friendly and well informed and not pushy (maybe we'll do some trips next time!).
Rooms very clean.
We didn't really bother with the entertainment and we were far too tired after lying around all day! Beach outside the hotel is fine but they only clean their bit which is a shame.
Nowhere to walk in the evening but ideally placed to visit Monastir or Sousse - buy water there 0,290DT in Monoprix rather than 0,500DT in the Miami centre (30mins walk) or 1,950-2,100DT in the hotel.
We had another excellent holiday in Tunisia -lovely hotel, relaxed atmosphere and a good mix of familiar and different, more unusual than Tenerife and good value.

The only disappointment we had was the location of the hotel. It is a walk away from the airport and has no shops of any kind within walking distance from the hotel. However we were not unduly troubled by aircraft noise and the Airport Metro was within walking distance. This allowed us easy/cheap access to Sousse and Monastir.
The hotel and rooms were kept very clean and the staff very friendly.
The choice of food was excellent and there was no need to venture out to purchase evening meals. As with any buffet it does become a bit of a routine by the end of the fortnight.
The evening entertainment was at best average and at worst embarrassing but you didn't have to go!
We found the holiday extremely good value for money and will certainly visit Tunisia again in a few years time.

All buffet food, which we got sick of after 2 weeks. Write up states al a carte, but this is the same restricted menu as lunch times and you have to pay.
Cost of drinks very expensive and entertainment is really bad.

Staff were proffesional and friendly. The rooms were superbly clean(if a little on the small side).
The food was great plently of choice at breakfast although dinner could be a bit hit and miss! and the resturant does not seem to cater for vegetarians almost all of the buffet disher were meat.
Entertainment wise the hotel was constantly improving and with a very eager animation team i am sure it wont be long before the season is well underway.
Although overall the hotel was great and we had a wonderful time I would prefer a quieter location and somewhere directly on the beach.

The entrance to the hotel is very impressive. It is built in a Greek style with pillars and marble floors and is spotlessly clean.
The animation crew were constantly entertaining and lavished attention on anyone willing to join in with activities ranging from daily competitions in darts, table tennis and archery to impromptu football and volleyball matches. They are also very keen on dancing and offer belly dancing and salsa lessons everyday which is great fun so long as you can handle the heat. They are also great with children.
The food here is awesome were where half board and were so impressive by the buffet every night we didn

The pool is fantastic, cleaned every day, there is a waiter service around the pool area so you don't even need to leave your lounger for a drink, a smiley waiter just brings you one.
The food is ok if you like trying new things, if you don't you may struggle a bit, but there are always the deserts which are the best I've had.
You will not get better service anywhere else, all the staff are very friendly and very eager to please. The entertainment staff put on some good shows, some a little dated but a good laugh. The mini club was
good and well run.
The only down side to this hotel for us was the location, there is nothing to do or see outside of the hotel unless you want to take a taxi or train. Also if you like a drink in your room there is no supermarket close by that sells alcohol you have to buy it over the bar - Beer about
