There is a small beach for the use of the hotel and the nebouring hotel. Only went for about 10 mins as the kids wanted to get back. The resort consists of Neptunia hotel and Liberty hotel.

The resort cleanliness, entertainment and beach were all ok but there was quite a bit of seaweed in the sea and on the beach.

I cant rate the resort of Skanes too much because to be honest, it really isn't a resort as such.It's just an area of hotels dotted along a coastline.Once out of your hotel, there are no restaraunts,bars or shops.Everything in this "resort" is hotel based.

Skanes is a lovely beach and a short taxi ride to Monastir or Sousse. It is close to the airport so the transfer time is short and I rarely heard plane noise even though I could see them.
As the entertainment is so good in the hotel we did not go out in the evening.
I will return.

The resort is clean , but theres nothing to do apart from going on the beach , once your outside the hotel it is a taxi ride the the nearest shops the taxi`s are cheap but every body is after money.

Nothing to do and all day to do it...no shopping so if you want to lie by the pool or on the beach its the place for you

the beach is very clean you can get some people trying to sell you tat but the secrurity get rid of them go on the noddy train good couple of hours go shopping always hagel on the prices never pay what they ask local food is nice people really friendly.

The Skanes area is in my opinion the best area 2 go 2. Its near the airport (5 mins in a taxis which are dirt cheap). Dont be afraid 2 go out at night, believe me its a lot safer than England. Visit the little villiage of Sahline (I call it little but it has grown a lot since my first visit 15 years ago). This is a lovely villiage and you see the real life of the people. Dont travel by horse drawn carriages, the drivers will lie through their teeth to get you onboard, whatever they say it will cost you more n more.
Take a bus,taxi or even better walk. Im not very agile as i am 61 with bad joint problems but it is so level heere I can walk 4 miles.

Would highly recommend the quad biking & parasailing.
DO NOT pay for a transfer as the hotel is literally 5 mins from airport (although you cannot hear the noise). We paid 5 dinar - which is plenty.
We will go again for a short break - 1 week is just right.
