I would find it hard to comment on the resort as a whole as we didn't leave the hotel area - it had its own private stretch of very clean beach with sun shades, cushioned sunloungers, a beach bar, a pier with bean bags to lounge on - so why would you need to go anywhere else?

This is a hard one as Lara is mainly hotel based but there is a lot of work going on and it could be different in a few years time.

We only really visited the beach, entertainment and resport at our hotel - but certainly the area where Titanic, Larespark, and Miracle Hotels are is very clean indeed with excellent beach. Only saw our hotel entertainment - nowhere else to go for other entertainment!

Visited the resort of Lara end of May/start of June.
Unfortunately it is not fully developed yet and at the mo consists of 7/8 hotels and one small shopping centre wich was quite a long walk from where we stayed, so no bars shops really if you like to take a stroll.
Fortunately all the hotels along this strech of sand all look nice and have there own mini water parks and are all on their own bit of the beach wich is o.k, bit shingly in parts.
I would visit this resort but in say 5 years when it is up and running, It will be more like Turkey's answer to the French Riviera/Marbella etc then.

Unable to comment on the resort as we stayed within the confines of the hotel as it was in an isolated position.
Beach was fabulous with clean sands and crystal clear water.

Lara beach is what appears a newly developing resort, there are many buildings being currently built in the surrounding area.
There was a hotel being built to the left of the Lara Beach Hotel but you would not even know it when you were in the grounds of the hotel there was no noise or disruption of any kind.
There is no local town within walking distance which is quite nice to have on a holiday. The nearest town is Antalya which is a great place to visit, you either have to take the local bus which stops across the road from the hotel or a taxi.
I would recommend a taxi which will wait for you and bring you back after a pre-determined time.

There was no resort as such; the hotel was the resort. The nearest village, a good 20 minutes' walk away, was just an ordinary rural Turkish village with just a couple of cafes and shops serving local needs.

Antayla itself was nice in the old part of town, beach wasnt that nice.
We found it more expensive than other areas of Turkey we have visited and they deal mainly in euros for everything , mainly a German, Dutch and Belgium resort.
