Location
The food in the hotel was good, had wide variey of choices, and different restaurants to choose from, has turkish, italian, fish restaurants as well as good old chips & pizza.
The location hotel was good, with only 5 min taxi ride to belek itself, which has market on a saturday. Although there is also a market that visits the hotel on a wednesday as part of turkish night as well as camels n donkey.
The staff in the hotel and pool bars etc were excellent always got service with a smile, and would have friendly chat with you which was excellent. Also staff within the hotel, were great also, Bel-al thr porter was soooo nice, and Farid from the souvenir shop as well as the staff from the general shop and Uli from the clothes shop was excellent. Excellent friendly staff throughout.
The entertainment was always great, with lots of different activities during the day, different shows at night as well as the disco, the staff got u invoved also which was great for thoses who took part.

Since my last visit in Sep 05 they have added a new entertainment amphitheatre with tiered seating, and tables and chairs to the front of the stage where everyone can see the entertainment better than before, below that there are kids clubs, and play parks, there are three new restaurants, Italian, fish, and Turkish, where the food and the service are next to none and not to be missed.
The food just continues all day, and the bar is open 24hrs. There is ice cream everyday, with ice cocktails at 3.30 and baked potatoes with beautiful fillings at 4.30.
Anyone who cannot find plenty to eat here just cannot be pleased.
The staff are great all very friendly and polite. Being a returning guest we were given a red wrist band which tells the staff we have been there before and and they respond to this, also as returning guests we were given bathrobes and slippers with fruit and wine delivered to our room, all at no extra cost.
The drinks at the bar also have been upgraded with things like baileys and Bacardi added to all the usual.
We will definitely return to this hotel and have no hesitation about recommending it to anyone, but then again on saying this over the years I have found some people who can't seem to be satisfied no matter what.
The place is spottlessly clean and once again I must mention my very good friend Bill Ali who is one of the head bell boys and one of the nicest people I have met in my whole life.
Anyone who was there at the same time as me and reads this report, I am the silly Scot who got sunburn on his legs and they are more than welcome to contact me.
Once again a great holiday in a great hotel, anyone who says there are to many Russians here may be right but if you cannot deal with this and get on with your holiday then you may be better off somewhere else, personally it does not bother me.
To the staff of the sun zeynep I would like to say (tesiker ederim)thank you.

The waterslides were great and open most of the day. Pool towels were changed everyday. Linen/towels changed everyday. Fridges in your room stocked daily. If going out of the hotel as at the reception bar for bottles of water. They also served peanuts in the evening.
The Turkish markets come to you once a week, aswell as the Turkish Ice-cream man in the main resturant, let the kids have an ice-cream from him and they will have fun!!!
Try the Turkish bath

We stayed for 2 weeks at the Sun Zeynep from 14th May. Let me get the bad points out of the way first. The flight times were dire. They meant we arrived there in the early hours of the morning, which for me, wrecked the 1st day. And it meant we lost our 1st night of the 14. Going home, we had to pay

This hotel is brilliant in every way,and is in my eyes the perfect holiday.
The nearest town is Kadriya about ten minutes journey on an open sided trailer pulled by a tractor great way to travel in the heat.
You can get really cheap excursions there from a travel agent called let's go travel a mere fraction of the prices charged by tour companies.
My wife and I are already booked up for June and August this year. There will be some changes made this year as I understand they are adding a golf course and various other new attractions.
Please refer to my previous report for further information

Throughout the rest of the hotel, you would always see staff cleaning and tidying up to a high standard. This was carry on through-out the day and all night.
The choice of food was excellent to accomodate everyones taste. Was always hot and everynight the choice would also include a bar-be-que. As much fresh fruit as you would want. Through out the day you were provided with lunch, either in the restaurant, pool bar. The beach bar provided food all day.
There was also one women who from 11am till 5pm would contiune to make fresh pancakes of your choice. Please be aware that these are very popular and sometimes we had to wait up to 45 mins (This does give you a good excuse to the kids out of the sun for a time).
There are three pools (large free form, small childrens pool and water slide pool). The main pool had area had sun shade canopies and parasoles. As all hotels do, the beds go very early.
Please note that the whole pool areas were slippery at time, although we don't know why, we did see a few people with broken bones.
Turkey seems to be very popular with the Russians. Please note that when it comes to queing, they don't know what this means.
So now we come onto entertainment. During the day the onsite animation team provided various activities for all ages. They do also provde a mini-club and teenage club. The dance that everyone does around the pool has got to be seen, very funny.
They also throughout the day play music. which can loud sometimes and repetative. This can be annoying when trying to relax.
The evening entertainment was disappointing. It varied from syncronised swimming, which we saw twice in the same week. Greece show, Ali-baba, miss sun Zeynep and water olympics.
There is also the usual things to do on the beach, which is also clean and the water clear and warm.

The hotel itself was really nice and the rooms were a decent size and always maintained well, basically what you would expect from a 5 star. They had everything you could possibly want to keep you amazed.
The food was great and they had lots of choice for kids and adults.
The staff were really friendly and made you feel welcome and the entertainment was brilliant! For the younger kids they had the shows and mini discos at night and the kids clubs in the day also, and for the teens and adults the disco at the beach bar was a real buzz. We had so much fun every night dancing away to all the latest tunes and having a good laugh with the people we met. Going on from 11pm to 2am you didn't have to be on one of those holidays where you go to bed early having nothing to do it was great!
The hotel was a very safe place for the children as well and they could go off and do what they wanted having lots of fun on the water slides and in the pool. And also having a small shopping centre on the premises was really good if you need anything at all.
Overall the hotel is excellent I would definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone- families, couples you've got everything you could possibly want!

There was a wide range of hot and cold food from mid morning to late evening.
If you like spirits you are limited to gin or vodka unless you upgrade to ultra inclusive for 6 euros per person per day this includes children.
Transfer time from airport is approximately 30 minutes, the hotel is right on the beach with excellent facilities.
The hotel staff were friendly but some did not like to serve you a drink at 11:50pm even though it is open till 12:00 at the pool bar, but senior staff ensured this did not happen.
The entertainment is varied for different age groups, you can join in the swimming pool games play football at 17:00 and beach volleyball at 11:00 at nightlife you wish. Also there is a different show each night from animators and outside entertainers

The staff were extremely curtious and couldn't do enough for you.
The food we thought was of a very high standard although there could have been a little more choice for children as our son too lived on bread and chips for two weeks.
For adults there was a choice of at least four or five main dishes every mealtime, with a varied choice of both meat and vegetarian options.
Although the hotel is in a remote area, this is an ideal setting for those with young families. The hotel is very secure with security gates and patrols on site, giving peace of mind to parents who wish to give their older children a longer reign.
The entertainment during the day was not too bad, with plenty going on from football, water polo, volley ball, rifle and pistol shooting and archery to name but a few.
However the evening entertainment was pretty poor with the Animation team providing it night after night, unlike in other resorts we've been to where professional acts are brought in.
There is a mini-disco from 9o'clock for about half an hour, but even that wasn't as good as we've seen in other resorts.
We like others on this website didn't feel that this hotel was a 5* hotel but having said that would still return as the cleanliness along with the great weather far outway any negative points.
