Bitez is a lovely resort. Quite small but with more than enough to entertain you for a week. There are loads of lovely restaurants and bars, quite a few shops, a nice beach with thousands of free sunbeds (provided you buy a drink!) and watersports if you fancy it. Its also easy enough to get into neighbouring Gumbet and Bodrum to explore.

Bitez is certainly for the more Mature. Long flat promenade with plenty of restaurants. Not a great amount of shops but within easy access by Dolmus to Bodrum. Beach is shingle but plenty of decking with great soft cushions to lie on!! Would recommend this resort if you want a relaxing, peaceful holiday. We loved it and would go back tomorrow given the chance!!

The resort was spotless, well laid out, safe for children {though you wouldn't see many}. The age profile overall tended to be people in their 50's and 60's. It was very safe, The beach water was the warmest i'd ever swam in.
Resort entertainment was non existant the people i met from Crosshaven had to bring there own musician because there was no real entertainment - which i found astonishing because people were crying out for entertainment - so be warned on that level.
I'd visit the resort again but as i understand it through word of mouth on the ground the Mandarin Garden hotel is far superior to the above Manuela hotel and that's where i'd go.

Bitez is a small resort, not especially Turkish but very nice.
It is always clean and is easy to get around with no hills etc. transport to other resorts is easy via the dolmus'.
There are plenty of restaurants, varying from fairly good quality to some basic eateries.
Ample shops for most needs and a small tourist market.
The beach is fairly narrow and is man made from shingle/ sand/ gravel and can be quite busy with the sunbeds fairly close to each other.
The sea is shallow enough for non swimmers with a nice soft sand seabed once in the water.
Entertaiment is farly low key, being mostly in the reataurants, although some hotels/bars have the usual Turkish nights.
Boat trips are available locally and trips can also be booked in resort.
Not for those wanting exicting night life but good for couples and small children, not much for teenagers etc.
No "bar street" as such, so there is not a lot of rowdiness/ drunkeness etc.
Good for relaxing holidays.

We really liked this resort, clean and very safe. Not a great deal of entertainment, so not the place for a lively night scene, but for a relaxed tranquil stay it is perfect.

the resort was quite littered compared to other countries we have visited but it didnt ruin the resort, the beach was shingle, we did find a small part sand near the harbour which my son played with his bucket and spade.
We did trips-Kos day trip, Boat trip and the Bodrum market trip, all were an experience and worth the money..
See you next year bitez xxx

This was a lovely pleasant break away. The scenery was beautiful and eating out was great.

Bitez is lovely and ideal for families. Bars recommended are the sultan (for a laugh) and new seasons (for a posh meal). The beach is perfect with free sunbeds all round. Not to much hassle, just a good banter.

Love Bitez it's a beautiful resort. There is wonderful restaurants there and I like the turkish people, they do there best although sometimes they can go a bit over board to try to get you into their premises which is a bit of a pain! But that's all over Turkey not limited to Bitez. I do think they could provide more entertainment with regard to the night life suitable for families. But yes love the place and will visit regularly.
