We loved Bodrum it had a great atmosphere about it the Turkish people make it better with their great hospitality and freindliness. It is very easy to get around Bodrum using the local buses which are very cheap. Everyone speaks English and is ready to help.
I do recommend Bodrum, it's great!
We will go again in September.

THESE RESORT REVIEW RATINGS ARE FOR BODRUM.
Club Milta wasn't really in a resort of such, just in its own large grounds with small private beach. Torba was across the bay and Bodrum about 8km away. Bodrum had small beach with very coarse sand, not ideal for children.
Plenty of shops, Restaurants and Boat Trips but a lot of hassle when you walk by.

Very nice beach areas. Halikarnis disco is the place to be seen. Old part of town is excellent with plenty of restaurants to chose from. Prices from cheap to cheaper !! Excellent value for money.

plenty to see and do if your a culture vulture in surrounding areas, market good fun, no litter, bodrum itself very pretty lovely views from castle

Bodrum was a fairly large, pleasant coastal resort, with plenty of bars and eating houses. Nice harbour area and the places we visited were very clean and all the staff went out of their way to accommodate you in whatever way they could. Plenty of places in the town to buy trips - far cheaper than what the tour operator reps charged. If you like bartering, then the area near the ferry terminsl (from day trips to Kos), is a good place to go, as Bodrum is the fake capital of the Med! Would definitely recommend Bodrum to anyone and hopefully, will go back sometime in the future.

this is a great resort for any person, we stayed ath the HOTEL ISTANKOY BODRUM with sunset holidays and it was great the staff were great the hotel was clean and just 5 mins from the front , great for familys couples infact any one any age will love the hotel istankoy

Bodrum is not a resort for families (thankfully) but Gumbet is not far away. Bodrum has a varied night life catering for all age groups. Gumbet is more family oriented with many golden beaches and some wonderful boat trips. There is something for everyone here.

It is the best resort i have ever seen in my entire life!
It was very quiet in May so it's a bit unfair for me to comment on entertainment. I would imagine there would be plenty to do in high season. Didn't use the bach but did notice it was very narrow, three rows of sunbeds max.
Would visit Gumbet and Bodrum again but much prefer Marmaris.
