we stayed in gumbet great resort plenty of bars restraunts
shops lovely on the beach front in evening.great to get round as its all close together good place to eat is the yucca next to queen resort and tropicana bar.

You will get a lot of hassle from the shop owners they really dont take the hint when you say NO!!
Even the taxis hassle you, and also a guy selling fake perfume will hassle you when you are sunbathing on the beach.

I think the resort is very clean you always saw the cleaners doing something round the resort.
I love the beach it is very clean and very relaxing.

The resort is packed with restaurants, shops, bars. It is very friendly but you are pestered quite alot to go into the shops and restaurants. The best restaurants were The Sunflower at the bottom of Gumbet and Windy Bay on the sea front.

Gumbet has something for everyone, forget club 18-30 this resort is birth to 100 plus. Love it. Will be back soon x

Very shabby, dusty, bombarded flee ridden dive!!!!
No beach hardly and I am thankful about that as you could see all the flies jumping around the water. The sea water smells like the sewers,I believe it is the sewers you ofen see bodily waste floating about.
Would never ever go back there again in fact the day I arrived back in England I booked another holiday to recuperate. But I will say the people are the friendliest, lovely people I have ever met and they adore children.

The restaurants were lovely with really friendly staf, delicious food & lots of deals to get you in.
The beach was narrow but really nice too with great water sports & lovely cushions to lounge on too.
We enjoyed the waterpark nearby & there were also loads of turkish spas in Gumbet to relax in & have treatments!
Would definately reccomend it to others

gumbet was a very lively resort with good local amenienities and local transport links to bodrum.people were very friendly and i would go backagain,in fact iwillprobably take my 14 yr old daughter this year.

We didn't make it to the beach much as the hotel and staff were so fantastic we didn't leave it much.
We went out of season so a little quiet but Marmaris is a beautiful area, I would recommend this for any type of holiday.
