Seaview worth the upgrade - best to email them on advance.
Family rooms are best further back from the beach as noisy animation area plays loud music at times.

We loved the resort and found lots of good places to spend an evening. We highly recommend Rosy's at ladies beach and alladins magic lamp near the harbour also planet yucca is really good fun. The shopping was great fun and you just have to be good humoured about the "hassle". I have never been to a resort with so many stray dogs alhtough I have to say they were all very docile and never caused a problem - no sign of any dog fouling anywhere.

Very clean - spotless.
Entertainment much the same as other hotels have stayed at.

We were a distance away from Kusadasi, so only went in on market days. We were offered free transport in the evenings to various restuarants but declined the offers. One suggestion is ... if you enjoy markets please try Selcuk market, this is a lot bigger than Kusadasi market, and haggling with the stall holders must be done. So long as you are not rude or insulting, you should have lots of fun, and get a bargain to boot!
Our beach at the resort was cleaned every morning of seaweed. The sand looked like it had glitter in with it. I was ok until my husband saw an octopus in the water so I decided not to swim out too deep. Otherwise very water very clean and clear.

kusadassi itself is beautiful and the weather perfect that time of year but our hotel was miles from town so the dolmus was essential.we ate out a lot as the food was ming at the surmeli. we were hassled, sworn at and grabbed in the town but we made the best of it!plenty of places to get an english breakfast! Lots of lovely clean beaches and our hotel had its own private beach with pedalos and watersports for a fee.

The Resort was very clean and where a mess was made it was soon sorted by an army of lady cleaners.
The beach was of a very mixed standard, the beach right outside the hotel in parts looked and felt like it had just been cleared of an oil spill which had been compounded by an overflow of seawead, but once you had cleared this and gone out a little way into the sea it was very good and the sea was very shallow and safe for a long way out.I would recomend using the boats that are provided for the guests use and just going past the headland where the views are real good.
I donot know if i would use this resort again but the scuba diving was very cheap and the dives themselfs were great

Side was great it was only a short bus or taxi ride away with so much to do. Shop (although you cant barter, you have to go to the market), bars, resturants, history and beaches. The beaches provided many sports and me and my 3yr old cousin went parasailing, which was fantasic! the beaces got busy, but were still good. Around the melissa there are many bars and resturants which are all very nice and the service is excellent. Many of them have a large screen with enlgish commentry on the football for the fans! And there were many nightclubs too.

The resort was as expected. Not much around the immediate area but a bus ride away puts you in the middle of town.
Lots of resturants jewellery and leather shops and the markets. Locals hassle you but are friendly - just a polite no and you will be fine.
By fair the hotel is the best in the area and in Turkey it is 5* not 3* as said in England.

Kusadasi is a lovely part of Turkey, it has some good beaches and some lovely restaurants and pubs/bars.
I did find the pavements and roads quite dangerous, they are not very well looked after! The only thing that put me off the resort is the pestering.
I think anyone who has been to Turkey before knows you get stopped for boat trips, etc but in Kusadasi it was none stop for the full 2 weeks. Its men on mopeds stopping to give you their cards for their restaurants, which is fine, but we ate at a few places we received cards for, and the next day, they were stopping us again and looking at us like they had never seen us before, then still badgering us to go again.
Most of it was good fun, but there was a select few, who became a bit of a nuisance. My advice is, the restaurants who dont advertise with men on mopeds so much are the better ones and the cheaper ones by far. That was my only downside to Kusadasi, everything else was great, the harbour is really pretty of a nice and you get to see some fab cruise ships!
