Fethiye is a turkish town not a resort town with a working harbour not a beach.
It has a good market every tuesday and the old town bazaar is very lively with lots of fake watches and sunglassess and clothes evrywhere.did not visit at night so cannot comment on the entertainment.
Very good place to buy gold.

The resort was lovely, self contained and has a chilled out atmosphere. There were always areas for you to relax with kids areas kept well hidden so you could feel that you were there on your own.

Gorgeous place however be prepared to climb lot's of steps, not suitable for a 6 month pregant lady!! However will keep you fit epecially as you eat so much and drink as the food is very good especially the Al carte resturtants. Be prepared to wake early and join the queue to book your table for that evening, worth it though. Aiport check in on way home really spoilt our holiday we were left outside airport for 2 half hours in blittering sunshine with small children, not a great way to end you holiday and for that reason we wont be going back!!

There is no beach in Fethiye, so hence the 1 star! Getting a Dolmus (mini-bus taxi) to nearby Calis or Olu Deniz is very easy and cheap, and I would thoroughly recommend going to Olu Deniz.
Entertainment isn't really a feature of Fethiye. We loved the resort for its relative lack of tourism, the fact that it is still very much a Turkish town. There are enough restaurants geared towards tourists to eat in, and plenty of bars to have a drink and dance, but that is the extent of the entertainment. The bazaar was lovely to walk around, lots of interesting stuff to buy, and everyone is so friendly.

Just a short walk down a slight hill from the yacht hotel is the lovely little harbour front of fethiye.
I instantly fell in love with the place.
You can sit on the waters edge and watch the turtles swimming up and down or you can cool off a nice beer and something delicious to eat from the park cafe situated right on the front.highly recommend this cafe.
Also recommend a lovely little upstairs restaraunt called the address which is in between the harbour and the yacht hotel.beautifull food.
The scenery is breathtaking of an evening as all the differant coloured lights from calis shimmer on the water.
walking away from the harbour front,go down the side street and to the end where you will come across a great restaraunt called the duck pond.It has a lovely little duck pond in the middle of it (hence the name) and a little fountain.
Back to the harbour front, you can get a water taxi over to calis beach for about 80p.
The beach itself is not worth a visit as it is very gritty and the water is very choppy.
It is well worth the twenty minute journey on a dolmus to get to olu deniz beach and its beautifull lagoon.
Please do get the water taxi over to calis and watch the sunsetting,it is fabulous.
We also took a twelve island cruise from the harbour for £6 and it was worth every penny and more with lunch included.
Overall,i can not wait to go back to fethiye and see it all over again.

The resort was kept to a particularly high standard, and guest's welfare is at the forefront of staff's agendas. I would not class Letoonia as a 'beach resort' as the manmade beach is fairly narrow and there is not much sand. However, the watersports on offer were plentiful (Many of which are incuded in the all inclusive package)and the scenery breathtaking, and we considered the beach as an added bonus to the rest of the resort. Best holiday yet, and we've had a few gooduns!
