Before booking these apartments, I looked at various review sites to try and get what I felt would be a fair overall picture and opinion of the accommodation. Their website is quite comprehensive and quite informative, along with numerous pictures in and around the premises. On arrival we were somewhat disappointed to find a fairly tired and worn looking premises, and the various facilities boasted on their website were there, but it looked as if a number of years had passed with little or no maintenance having been done, and a lot of the repair work being of a cheap and quick fix nature. Still, we checked in and were led to what we were assured to be "a good room for your family". The porter could not unlock or open the apartment door, which was not surprising, since it looked as if it had been kicked in at some point and the woodwork, lock and handle mechanisim had simply been pushed back in place and glued together with an excess of evo stik or similar and it was plain to see this. When we finally got into the apartment, it was very cramped, musty and dated inside. The patio doors would not latch properly, the safety deposit box was loosely fixed to the wall, and along with a number of other items, it was clear we were not going to settle for this room. When we asked for another room, we were informed that there was no other available at this time. On that basis we made it clear that we were not prepared to stay in such a poor state of a room which was supposed to be a good room, and promptly packed up and left, making other arrangements to stay elsewhere. We are not a fussy family and so long as a room is clean, habitable and secure, then we are quite prepared to overlook some of the lesser faults, but on this occasion, the room was none of these things. We may well have been the exception in terms of the choice of room, but the general state of the room and facilities, left a lot to be desired, and their website images are certainly not up to date, with very little proper maintenance having been done when repairing or replacing anything.

me,mum and dad have just come back from a 3 week holiday at bahar apartments wich we went to last year aswell.i have to tell the truth it was a lot better than last year and would definetly go back next year.the hotel was very very clean and they cleaned the room every day with clean towels,bedsheets and pillow cases.the entertainment was very good aswell the turkish night had loads of fun packed into it and it wasnt just the entertainment because of the staff , like ozzy,joe,micheal and rob were dancing round the pool and it was a blast.the location was very good aswell but could have been a bit closer to the centre but thats just me being lazy so.the hotel food was very tasteful even though we had self catering we sometimes went down there to have our breakfast.so a MASSIVE thanks to joe,ozzy,rob,micheal,the owner and the 2 new guys for making my holiday last like it was more than a 3 week holiday but i dint want to go home im bored now its very dull and raining in england not like icmeler with the 54 degrees heat.

the apartments were very clean, cleaned evey day. the staff were lovely and very friendly. the food we ate there, snacks round the pool and in the resturant were very nice.there wasn't entertainment only once a week when they had a turkish night which was very good.the location of the hotel was about 30mins walk to the main part of icmeler and the surrounding area of the hotel was very quite, there was a couple of resturants near by which we tried and really enjoyed. it was a shame it was so quite because it was a lovely place.

just returned from a two week holiday to bahar apts, first time in turkey and had a fantastic time. staff were great especially mehmet, ali and robin. apartment was basic but clean towels every day and bedding changed every second day. didn't want to come home.

looking to book up for next year real soon.

The Bahar Apartments was really nice to stay in and would go back.

Guner , Mehmet and Ali were really nice and helped with anything.

Turkish night was good.

They had a really good chef.

when we all go back next year we hope the same workers are there.

Our hotel appartment was near the reception area and was very basic compared to the other side of the hotel which had been renovated. The appartment we were in was very spacious and was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided and bedding changed every 2 days.

Food was ok at hotels restaurant but would not recommend the steak as it was like stew.

Pool area was ideal for us as the kids pool was right outside our appartment and had a chute and was not too deep.

There is also a large pool at the rear of the hotel which was deeper for adults. Both pools were clean and we spent most of our time in them.

Staff were great and very entertaining and my 4 year old son loved them as they had a lot of time for him and always made him laugh, making our holiday even more enjoyable.

The appartments were excellent, had all facilities you need to make your holiday enjoyable. Excellent food readily available on request all day and evening or local supermarkets for shopping. Rooms were cleaned every day and we were provided with fresh towels and bedding as agreed.The staff could not have been more helpful on our arrival and the rest of our stay, most friendly and comediens at heart. On arrival we were greeted, helped to our rooms, we got showered changed and joined in on the Turkish night which was good fun and an ice breaker for the new arrivals, staff and guests all joined in Ian had a ball with the belly dancer. Our only regret was leaving and we wished we could stay for another week, we had to leave in a hurry as we got our dates mixed up but it caused a great laugh cant wait to return to Bahar. Hope all astaff still there when we do especially Ozman at the pool bar and Mehmet at the front bar I wanted to take him home with me yum yum.

Rooms cleaned everyday, quiet location but not too far from centre.

Staff excellent, excellent pool areas for kids would definitely go back.

Bahar, bahumbug more like the worst accomodation I have ever seen, only lasted half a day and that was only because we arrived at 7 am and were tired.

Curtains falling off window hung with a pen, dirty linen, bed to small for my son, very noisy, balcony door did not close, bathroom door did not close small dingy attic room, even though I requested a low floor due to the fact my wife was recovering from a foot injury, smelly pool area enough said.
