Lovely pool area, clean and generally quiet as i would say this hotel caters more for couples or groups without children, however there is a kids pool. Special mention to oz who is the hardest working man we've ever met and he still manages to be polite, funny and helpful. An asset to the place.

We were on the fourth floor, attic rooms, and found the room very grubby along with the stained bed linen and rock hard towels.
The lighting was very poor and the bathroom left alot to be desired.
We have been visiting Turkey for nearly 14 years and this is the first time I have had a negative opinion.
We certainly will not go back to the Dilhan Hotel.

The staff speak little English but they always want to please the guests. Please - If you have any problems speak to them first and they will try to rectify the problem
Unfortunately a very inexperienced Rep from "My Travel" was not so kind with the Hotel staff and really humiliated them one day whilst I was there.
Do not be afraid to go there. Just enjoy

No chance of one in the afternoon. Staff very friendly and always helpful.

The hotel was dirty in all areas, towels and bed linen were virtually none existent and what was provided was diabolical, if there was supposed to be maid service every day I don't know what she did. There was old dust and hair everywhere and the bathroom, well we won't even go into that aghhhh!!
Take my advice and if you have booked this hotel cancel now, I have never stayed in such a dirty and below place.

However we were disappointed with the bedroom. We stayed on the 3rd floor. It was a reasonable size, much the same as other small hotels. The paintwork and furniture were good and looked fairly new.
The problems we had were, no bed linen change in 2 weeks and only 3 lots of clean towels. The floors were only partially cleaned a couple of times but the bins were emptied daily.
The shower was virtually useless. If you managed to get enough water to get wet you had to wait about 15 minutes to be able to rinse off the shampoo and lather. One guest was lucky enough to have a friend staying in another hotel and went there to have a shower.
The light bulbs were so dim you could hardly see what you were doing. We only ate the Turkish breakfast, which was fine, no cold meats or cereals as other hotels provide but ample.
Most of the staff seemed a bit indifferent except for the young lad who was always about all night and in the mornings for breakfast.
Well done Mustafa, you are the saving grace of the hotel. We have stayed in Icmeler 10 times, always in small economy hotels and have to say that we found this one the worst.

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, and although the rooms are small and basic, they are more than adequate and offer fantastic value for money.
Air conditioning has now been installed in most of the rooms, and it was very inexpensive. Our only gripe was that because the swimming pool was 1.7m deep all over, it was unsuitable for those in any way nervous about the water.
The pool area, however, was lovely. Lots of shady trees, with plenty of sunbeds and parasols - and of course, Oz the barman! What a superstar! He had us all in stiches each night as we sat with him for a nightcap - if anyone is going in the near future - get him to show you his joke book!
The breakfast was typical Turkish, but as other posters have said, you can get English breakfast (if thats what you like) from any number of establishments within a 50 yard walk.
I would imagine that its possible to eat at a different restaurant every night for months, and they are all of a very good quality. Our favourites were the Love Boat and the Light House, both absolutely fantastic.
If you are looking for basic accommodation, close to all the fantastic amenities that Icmeler has to offer, I dont think you can go wrong at the Dilhan. We met lots of people who go year after year, and I cant help thinking that we might be joining them!

The room was basic but spotlessly clean, there was no air conditioning on our floor (1st) but they supplied us with a fan. The staff are very helpful and will do absaloutly anything for their guests always with a smile (even a cup of tea at 3 in the morning!!)
The breakfast was fresh and plentiful (Turkish) and the poolside bar serves lovely snacks and is very reasonably priced.
The only problem people may have is with the pool which is a good size but 1.7m deep not a problem for us but could be for weak swimmers or children, there is a small jacuzzi type pool aswell but it is tiny. Also the showers are rubbish but we soon got use to this!!
Finally I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel it is a small, friendly hotel that never seemed crowded. As long as your not after luxury and non stop organised entertainment then you will love it.
