This is a true report. We found this hotel to be comfortable but I would suggest that they do something with the air conditioning as at times it was not working and at night I found it hard to sleep.
The food was excellent plenty of choice and everything cooked and served to a very good standard. The waiters could not do enough to make sure you enjoyed your meal.
The location was excellent close to the beach and nightlife which you needed because the main thing that let this hotel down was the entertainment in the hotel. This was poor the only good night they had was the night of the belly dancer but that was one night in the two weeks we were there.
The bingo was a bit of a con as you played for 20% of motorbike rides instead of a money prize which would have been better.
The hotel staff are very friendly and polite and all in all we enjoyed our stay and we are looking forward to returning.

The hotel was brilliant! The rooms where a great size and had gorgeous views off the balconys, the rooms were kept really clean by the maids who were really helpful!
The bathrooms were huge and I had plenty of space to get ready for a big night out (everynight in icmeler) The food was excellent, the soup was fine and the bbq was gorgeous aspecially the meatballs, breakfast was great and all the chefs were lovely!
The hotel was a 10 second walk to the centre and with us being young clubber girls we were vey happy it wasn't a mile walk from the hotel!
The staff where lovely and we made friedns with alot of them and the reception guys were great! Entertainment I have to say wasnt brilliant but I cant sit in 1 bar all night anyway I have to be moving all the time!
Everybody keeps saying that the air conditioning didnt work, it did work in our rooms but you had to have the door closed on to the balcony otherwise it didnt work!

It's the fourth year in succession I've been to the L'Etoile, in the beautiful resort of Icmeler.
For the last two years, my teenage daughter has brought along her friend, and this has given her added fun, and me more lounging by the pool time!
The food is superb, it really is. Don't expect particularly English fare, though chicken/pasta/salads/'stews' are plentiful. The homemade desserts are something to behold!
Service is excellent, staff really friendly.
Tennis court got plenty of use, as did the bar (fancy that?)
Our room had a view to die for out to sea, and as ever with the L'Etoile, the only gripe is the 'entertainment' - it's really abysmal! Would-be Elton Johns of all nationalities, crooning away night after night. Luckily the local nightlife is great, offering plenty for both the girls and me, despite our respective ages (teenagers and, er, forty-something).

Letoile is in a fantastic location, 10m walk to the beach and with many shops, bars and restaurants also nearby. Staff are extremely efficient in the restaurant (clearing away plates as you finish chewing your last mouthfull!)Also, we found the all-inclusive buffet meals suited us fine, there was an abundance of food to choose from with something new to try everyday so we never bored of the menu. (Turkish style ice-cream u must try if you get the chance!) Entertainment left a little to be desired, though a short walk to any nearby hotel and you will find the music pumping so no real problems there. Only one complaint: air-conditioning in the rooms run only at certain times and not very well at all. It was difficult to sleep at night with the rooms so humid, so it may be worse through late July/August.

The hotel l'etoile was absolutely diabolical. My family named it the toilet hotel. You could stay in a better hotel in Blackpool than this hotel.
The food was horrible. No entertainment. The rep was a waste of space. The hotel was very dirty. We arrived after a long Journey and was very disapointed.
I would not recommend this hotel to any one. Overall this was a rubbish hotel and the worst holiday ever. Air conditioning was disappointing went off in the night.

It was our First trip to Turkey and the first trip abroad for the children, We booked last minute and hoped for the best but it turned out to be an excellant choice. thank you thomas cook tv lol
Hotel was extremely clean the staff friendly and the service was great :) we couldnt of wished for more except perhaps on the entertainment front, hubby suggests more belly dancing lol
Would recommend this hotel to anyone with children although if they are very young then you'd have to keep a close eye on then of an evening as the entertainment is next to the pool 2.10m at the deep end. Plenty of food and sunloungers for all, although stereotypically the Germans insisted on putting down early towels even though there was no need.
All in all a BRILLIANT holiday :0)

My husband took me to Turkey for 50th birthday treat. We have never been to Turkey before will definately be going back.
Hotel situated on beach front.
Wonderful selection of food.
Accomadation good.
Staff very friendly.
Evening entertainment limited to local singer, folklore evening and cant forget bingo.
Situated in a lovely part of town. Entertainment in bars till late. Plenty of shops open till 11-12 oclock at night.
Staying in this hotel you will not hear any late night clubs music as most of the music in the local area will stop at 11. We went to reps night out missed evening meal got back around midnight and got a meal cooked for us in local bar.
Trip to Marmaris is really pleasant by boat, taxi 10 million lr about 4 pound for two people.
Wonderful, market day thursday shop till you drop very cheap.
Visited rhodes for the day very pretty especially old town. Plenty of shops in ichmeler.
Market day wednesday prepare to haggle and get good bargains.
When you walk out of hotel at seafront there is a lovely stroll along the front plenty of little stalls every evening.
Only dissapointing thing about our holiday was that we only had one week we should of had two Thankyou thomas cook see you next year.

hotel l.etoile has over the winter months been refurbished the standards are very high ie reception beautiful, room spot on, the position of this hotel is brill, the only problem is the food, at first, it was fine but the same stuff was churned out daily.why is it that we english think that we are getting a great deal going all inclusive.after the 2nd night of our stay we went looking for better quality food, drink and a little bit of excitment. within the town of icmeler there are loads of this in abundence.cant fault the hotel at all, staff great every thing you need for a good holiday. but why oh why pay
