Location
The hotel is, in my opinion, the best in Icmeler.
It is very clean, the staff are polite at all times even when people are rude.
Always got a smile for you.
The food is better in Pinewoods than it is in the town but I can't speak for other people's tastes we've eaten in the town and it's good.
Location of Pinewoods is good, for us its quiet.
If you need a bit of noise you've only got to go about 100 yards, plenty of music at the bars.
The entertainment is ok, just enough for most people.
We've been to Pinewoods 9 times and I've just paid for August 07.

The hotel is spotless. Very polite friendly maids clean rooms every day.
The food is of a very high standard and very cheap. The apartments are set back from the resort, there are several bars shops and restaurants only a stone throw away. It is a very pleasant walk into the center.
The hotel staff are very friendly and cant do enough to help. It was my little girls 2nd birthday while we were on holiday and the put balloons and banners up and got her a birthday cake.
There wasn't much entertainment on a evening, but one night there was a belly dancer. We had a realy good night.
We can't wait to go back hopefully later this year or if not definitly July 2007.
I would recommend these apartments to anybody. My children are 8, 6, 2 and 14 months old and they loved every second of it.
The hotel is very safe for familys.

The bar staff are pleasant as are the owners of the hotel. We didnt spend much time in the bar on an evening as there isnt any entertainment at all which is a shame. I would have maybe expected a weekly bbq or turkish night.
At the time when we visited we always found beds around for all of us. My only crititism would be is that the pool is that deep (1.50 m) at the shallow end and couldnt play volley ball. There is a small pool for young kids, although it is quite small.
The catering facilities are lacking i.e. a 2 ring hob, plates, cups, saucers and cutlery. No kettle or toaster is provided so it may be a good idea to take these if you have the room.
Air conditioning is a little expensive at

We didnt take much notice of kitchen facilities because we ate out lunch and tea times, but we did use the kettle for a cup of tea. The only thing lacking was toilet roll! Bar staff are great, pools nice, just a great all round family run hotel, definately recomended!
Go there!

Our apartment was cleaned everyday without fail. Theres beautiful flowers all around the apartments. The staff were very very friendly and very helpful. Its very close to the center of Icemeler and theres loads of shops and supermarkets and restaurants all very very cheap its just the perfect holiday!
I went to the carribean last year and paid a bomb 4 it and it was nothing compared to the pinewood apartments ill definetly be going back! the beech is about 15 - 20 mins walk but haggle 4 your sunbeds. If you book 4 the pinewood you will not be dissapointed at all

Plenty of space in kitchen / lounge area. The apartments were cleaned every day and were spotless would have been nice to have a hand towel as well as bath towel as towels were not changed every day.
The food at the snack bar was excellent in every way possible(price quantity taste)location was just outside the main town which was very quite you only had to walk 5 mins. and you had as much night life as you wanted.
The staff and the owners were brilliant could not do enough for you nothing was to much trouble.there was no entainment but Joeseph & Arief kept you entained with the chat and ther friendly smile.
Brilliant holiday at these apartments only been home 2 days and looking to go again in October.

If you have been before to Pinewoods then you will know Zac and Teddy, but they will not be there this year. We keep in touch with Teddy .

We found them to be excellent value for money.
The accommodation is basic but very clean and presentable.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our favourite was Teddy.
The pool area is pleasant and relaxing but slightly on the cramped side for the number of apartments. The sunbeds do not have any cushions which make them uncomfortable if your spending a full day by the pool.
The food served at the pool bar is good. The chips are home made and try the the chicken burger their gorgeous. Unfortunately no draught beer.
If you are a beach lover it's a good 15/20 minute walk.
Our favourite place to eat in Icmeler is the Three Bells never had a bad meal. We tried Captain Bullshits once the name sums it up. If you are a curry lover try the Taj Mahal.
Finally the only other comment I would like to add about the rooms is there is no electric kettle just a little Turkish pot so mashing in the morning is quite a long process also no toaster.
We loved Icmeler and the people and if we return would definitely return to the Pinewood.

The apartment we stayed in wasnt very big but adequate, it was spotlessly clean, comfortable and fairly well equipped.
The apartment was cleaned every day with towels and bedding changed twice a week.
We were self catering, but ate on numerous occasions at the pool bar, and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced.
The very friendly staff Ziki, Teddy, Jozef, Yunus, all other staff and the owners were very helpful nothing was too much trouble, they would always go out of their way to help.
Its a gentle 15-20 minute walk to the beach, or jump on the Icmeler train, which takes you right round Icmeler for 2 Lira or jump in a taxi for 5-6 Lira.
We would definately return to the Pine Wood, and will be recommending it to anyone we know wanting to visit Icmeler.

The staff are lovely and make you feel welcome. They remember your name and nothing is too much trouble. The regular barman Joseph was a scream and the other staff, Ziggy and Teddy were helpful and made you feel that nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel is spotless and in a beautiful setting. Watching the sunrise was breathtaking.
Our only gripe was the sunbeds. You have to get up early if you want one. During our second week a sign was put up to say beds could not be reserved until 7 am but we still found beds were reserved, not being used until midday or worse still, not at all.
