We asked to be moved as the hotel was unsafe and dangerous in our opinion. There was glass stair guards missing, chemicals were be putting in the the pool when we arrived as wasn't safe to use for 3 days. There were no high chairs in the resturants.
Safety comes first and this was not on the top of the list for this hotel.
This was our family honeymoon. One to remember.

The hotel is kept clean although on each change over day our room did not get a visit from the maid. If you enjoy eating hotdogs and burgers EVERY meal time then this id for you but it was not our taste. On one occasion they served up bullet hard baked beans with salami cut up and mixed in for our main meal and this is supposed to be Four star!!!
The Hotel is surrounded by building sites and is in the middle of nowhere. It has a severe mosquito problem in the evening and many guests needed hospital treatment due to the bites becoming infectious. The mossie repellent just doen't work.
The kids clubs are EXCELLENT with sessions lasting up to 2300hrs allowing some quiet time for us parents but the need to be booked the night before and you can do this during mini-disco time at 2000hrs.
The pool area is superb and that is wehere we spent most of our day. However, due to the ongoing work that F/C said was finished, my daughter stood on a 6 inch nail outside the kids club where there is also a kids pool with slide.
All in all, we were extremly unhappy with the Palace especially where the ice cream cost a fortune and the shops tend to charge what they like and trade in any other currency except their own.
I am going to throw the book at First Choice for doing this to me when I saved all year for what I hoped would be a fantastic holiday.
The food was lousy, the staff unhelpful and as for the First Choice reps...don't even get me started on that subject!

We arrived at the hotel around 4 am to be greeted by First Choice staff and staff from the resort and were instructed to go to the reception to check in which we did. Bearing in mind all staff at the resort were new too it went smoothly. We were given an envelope containing the key card for the door and a blue and yellow plastic watch along with your all inclusive wristband.
The Watch!!! Nobody told us what the watch was for which wasn't very good so I'll tell you now what it's for. If, after 12 night time, when the all inclusive ends and you still would like to carry on drinking, you will need to take the watch to reception and give them 50 lira to credit it with. This can then be passed to the bar staff and they will charge your drinks to it. This also applies to ice creams as they are not free so it's quite important to keep the watch safe. If you lose the watch you have to pay 13 euro to replace it as some guests found out. It wasn't made clear what it was or what it was for but we found out. Currency cannot be used at the resort apart from the bazaar and other shops.
The Safe!! Whilst checking in you might also want to tell them that you want them to set up the safe for you to enter your own code to store your valuables, get it done and out of the way.
The rooms were fantastic as we had been told, I have to say they were better than I personally expected which was a great start to the hol. I opened the doors to the patio and wow what a sight. We were right by the water park and my daughter already buzzing and not wanting a couple hours sleep was so excited with what she saw as was I. We also had a beach view which was lovely. Have to say the beach could be a lot better but they are working on it and it will get there in a couple of weeks but it was a beach and the sea was beautiful and wasn't worried about that to everything else in the resort. There are loads of pools and some are huge and cater for all ages, it looks fantastic day and night.
There are 4 restaurants the two upstairs being the themed ones which vary on different nights from Lebonese to Italian and Indian etc. We went to the Lebonese night as by the time we found out they were there the others were fully booked for the week and we had to have our meal there on the night we came home. I have to say although Lebonese isn't something I would eat again, the service and staff were great. After asking them if there was something more everyday for the children, who didn't really want to sit through 5 courses, they brought out pizza, pasta and chips, which was a great touch and something you will find all over the resort, they are great people and out do themselves to make you happy and contented. The restaurants down stairs were great, lots of different foods from there own meatballs to chicken, fish, typical Turkish dishes to chips and pizza with a lovely salad bar.
When the restaurant closed after main the opening times morning lunch and dinner, the poolside bar was constantly cooking chips, hot dogs, pizza pasta, toasted sandwiches and varied other dishes which you could snack on all day. You could also help yourself to an assortment of soft drinks and wine, or ask at the bar for a beer or vodka without having to wait, there were loads of staff which was a great touch. It could be because some might be going to the Tropical when it opens but I'm not sure and certainly can't complain.
I spoke to a few people who flew in the Thursday before and all said how bad the place looked when they arrived and how much work they had done for the Monday we arrived, and how much better it was now from then which was a relief. There is still cosmetic work to be done but as everything else about the resort was as good as it was it didn't bother me at all, all in all I had a spectacular holiday and I could write a lot more but I have gone on a bit and should really stop...
Oh and they have no expense spared on the hotel, there is marble everywhere you look bars are plentiful and it is just top notch and must of cost an absolute fortune. The Tropical they say will be ready by July so that's just something that we will have to wait and see as it looks pretty dire at the moment but there is approx 1000 people working on it to get it done so it should get done... lets hope so.
Hope this has helped some of you who are booked to go there soon and if you go there looking to have a good holiday without picking then I know you will.
P.S The chill out cruise is well worth booking.
Good luck all and happy holidays.

However on reaching the front doors was more than happy with what we saw initially, there seemed to be no expense spared wherever we looked.
The room was impressive in size and quality. Seperate'Kids Den' with playstation 2 for them. Then we had a look at our view from balcony and then we started to feel disappointed, it was a concrete wasteland with trucks going to and forth dumping rubble and mud etc. Very dusty. The patio would not lock and the air-con didn't work.
I was not going to let this get us down so we went for a tour, and the pools looked amazing, bars looked smart, restaurants looked posh and then we walked to the beach which was very dirty, plants growing all over and no waters sports or anything really. Later we found out that most of the beach was grass and the just skimmed it off and sprinkled sand on it!
Food was not to our liking, nothing was labelled and it all was very Turkish with not much alternative. Seeing as though it is a Brit only resort it was a let down. Kids were not happy.
All inclusive we paid for and this was almost full-board with a free bar. Ice creams, fresh orange juice, cocktails at bar, pool, air hockey, bowling, towels and kids games were all payable. Other than that our kids didn't do much else in the way of entertainment so it was getting expensive to keep them happy when it all (or most) should be inclusive.
Hotel staff could not speak a word of English so it was very hard to communicate which was not their fault but annoying still.
The 'shows' on the evening were of very poor quality and got repetative.
In a couple of years this place will be amazing if they make it properly A.I and by then it will all be finished too!

We arrived on the 6th June for 2 weeks. By the time we left things had changed for the better.
All inclusive this hotel is NOT. You have to pay for most of the actitives, orange juice, ice cream etc.
Our room was cleaned 2 times a week we were never left enough towels + bedding. They didn't have enough for all the guests. They came in daily and made beds (if you were lucky!) and did the bins.
The hotel itself is huge and very grand and keep clean.
The food is not good. It is the same every night pizza, meatballs, chips, pasta, salad, etc. Our kids had chips every day!
Lunch is burgers, hot dogs, chips, etc we as a family don't like these things every day!
Location is REMOTE and a 20 minute walk into the small town. Which is a terrible walk at the moment past the building works for the Tropical. Not suitable for children or elderly!
Hotel staff were very friendly but some did not speak English.
First Choice staff were OK.
The kids club was great and so are the pools. But several children were cutting their feet in the baby pool on the sharp edges of the tiles which is where they have rushed to fill these pools before making sure the tiles had no sharp edges!
Entertainment was like Butlins! My kids could do better!
And is all outside and you sit on wooden benches which are very hard on the bottom!
I do think this hotel will be great when it and the Tropical are finished but I will not be returning and I'm going to claim a refund from First Choice as this hotel is not as advertised!

The service is ok if you can find someone to string two English words together, (and that does not mean to say "your welcome" counts as the two words!)
Tennis you have to pay 7.5 lira per person! Non motorized water sports in the brochure says free! wrong it is

Hotel was clean, staff not very helpful, room was cleaned every two days had to ask for clean sheets all the time, could not open patio doors very often because of dust from construction lorries all day.
Health and safety was a big issue due to electric cables hanging out everywhere, covers still over smoke detectors and sprinklers.
This hotel should never have been opened till 2006.
Food was ok for a few days, but went downhill for rest of our holiday.
As for entertainment it was very poor and repetitive.

None of the activities were open my children were heartbroken, all we saw for 2 weeks was dust, construction vehicles, workmen.
English health and safey executive would have closed this place down. I will be taking action against First Choice, and informing news papers and television companies.
Food and entertainment was terrible.
Only good comment is how fantastic the in 2 action team were, a great group of young people, well done.

Our hotel Jacuzzi Suite was beautiful with four separate small pools for anyone wanting quiet from the huge, well equipped, free form pool.
Room cleaned and made up each day to high standard.
No noise from entertainment as we were in quieter side of hotel.
Plenty of bars and restaurants, no queues, exceptionally helpful and friendly staff - both Turkish and English First Choice.
Had safety deposit box explained thoroughly and this was free.
Yes there were some problems - what to you expect from a huge hotel in its first week. But honestly felt that many guests jumped on the bandwagon and saw

There was a choice of food for every taste including childrens buffet, snack bar during the day with burgers, chips, pizza, toasties melons served all day and as many drinks as you wanted, you had to pay for iceceams which were only a couple of euros payable on your blue watch which you credit first at reception.
Lebanese, Turkish, Italian and Indian restaurants excellent and all hotel staff went out of their way to please everyone, children entertained both day and night and could not possibly get bored as there is something for everyone there.
Hotel had a few minor things not finished but would not have spoilt anyones holiday, sarigerme is about 15mins walk or local bus stops outside pegasus tropical next door, taxi only 5 lira, no hassle in town and locals in shops glad to see you.
Sarigerme is very cheap for shopping and excursions, we had a fantastic holiday and would definatley recommend you try it, only downside was listening to everyone moaning about nothing.
