We had heard bad reports about these suites but when we got there we were pleased with our room. Room was very clean and we had a great view of the lake and wet and wild. We did have a problem with our room flooding (still dont no why) and we moved.
Some staff we very nice others not so.
Pool areas are great and are clean.
The hotel is in a great position just off I-Drive,with loads of places to eat nearby.

I stayed here with my family a few years ago.
The room was tiny and the walls where a rotten gone off colour! It may have improved since I stayed there but I do doubt it!
The hotel staff where nice thought as they moved us from a ground floor flat to one right in the middle which was way better but still not brilliant!
In the mornings you would get a breakfast box which I remember not being to nice and the restaurant/fastfood place was nice but not what you would expect!
The best thing about this hotel was its location it was so close to all the restaurants and wet and wild!

This was a good hotel with a great location - a short walk from restaurants, bars and universal studios and directly next to a fairground. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was a nice extra and having the pizza hut in the food court was nice.
I have been to Florida 6 times and cannot stress how amazing every time has been although I feel the hotels do not always live to the quality of european hotels.
The pools were nice as was the children's playground although the sand was rife with ants and so I did not really like my brother playing in it.
Our first night was a bit of a let down as we were given a studio on the ground floor which was small, dark and dismal - certainly not what we wanted. The staff were fine about a move the next morning- we were given a gorgeous big studio with two bathrooms and a kitchen and a small balcony which we had originally paid for.
The decor was slightly dated but in all the studio for a pleasure to stay in for 2 weeks. Both rooms had satellite TV as did the living space and it was fun being able to choose a newly released movie to watch if we were too tired to go out at night, there was a wide selection of films to choose from for a small charge at the end of your stay.
I guess I can't say a lot about Florida that will surprise - its the best!
In all this hotel was a nice relaxed place to return to at the end of each exciting day.

We have travelled as a family to Florida on 3 occasions twice staying at the The Enclave Suites.
The Enclave is an excellent family hotel with spacious rooms. The facilities are excellent with everything provided for, even down to the ironing board and iron.
The only moan would be the free continental breakfast which didn`t amount too much really, but you could upgrade to a full american style breakfast for a small charge.
The swimming pools were very good and never seems to get crowded.
I would fully recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Florida for the first time.
We will be going again in 2005 and staying at the Enclave Suites.

We stayed at this hotel for Christmas and New Year 2003. We found it very clean, although some of the public areas could have done with a brush a little more often.
The location was excellent and within easy reach of all the attractions. A car was not necessary and we used the I-trolley for the two weeks, on a pre-paid roving ticket. A courtesy bus was also provided to the main attractions and as you are one of the first stops on the route, you seemed to get a seat with ease.
The hotel staff were very friendly and when a minor problem was reported, it was dealt with immediately.
The one thing I would like to have seen, was a lounge / bar area at the hotel, to enjoy a drink in the evenings when too tired to venture out. The Pizza Hut in the food court did, however, do a good deal on large Pizzas, should you wish to relax in your suite one evening.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to all and faced with the cold British weather this year at Christmas....I know where I would prefer to be!

Hi,
We stayed in the Enclave Suites in September last year for our first ever trip to Florida and it was great... maid service every day, roomy rooms, excellent location (just off of I-Drive but not too far away) and it overlooks a lovely lake which I believe is something to do with Wet n Wild just up the road. We found it was in an excellent location, nice pool, friendly (but little more expensive) shop open most hours. Oh and as a bonus, the Police have an office / station just across the road!! We wondered why there were police cars parked in the shop car park and then discovered an office upstairs. Oh, to reassure you, we never heard any of their sirens going off in case you got a bit worried.
Rooms - lets see, one double, one twin, 3 x tv's with lots of channels to choose from (not that we had time to watch them!), kitchenette with dishwasher (which the maid loaded and switched on every day), fridge with small freezer, 2 x bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower. We also had a small (and I do mean small!!!) balcony but some of the rooms had a terrace balcony which I presume were bigger rooms in total.
We also had an ironing board, safe (which we paid a deposit for), hairdryers in the bathrooms and other little extras. Pizza Hut downstairs too... Oh, if you book and get free continental breakfast you would be better off getting a box of cornflakes to eat or something... the breakfast isn't too special but, saying that, I guess it's free so what did I expect?!?!
Location was a minute's walk or less from I-Drive and what I call the restaurant end because its mostly restaurants and supermarket touristy type shops there.
All in all I would thoroughly recommend staying there - it was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and in an ideal location I thought.

We went on our first trip to Florida in May 2003 and although we have no other previous visits to compare to we found the Enclave suites excellent. The Location was excellent - right in the middle of International Drive and so handy for everything. You could walk to Wet N Wild in minutes. There are three blocks of appartments with two swimming pools with jacuzis outside and another smaller pool indoors. The rooms were spacious and clean. We had a dishwasher (albeit a rather old brown thing) which was so handy, and a laundry just along the coridoor. Iron and board were in the wardrobe! We didnt have nightly entertainment but one Caribbean night a week with cocktails and buffet plus family entertainment which was very good. You actually dont need hotel based entertainment anyway as there is so much to see,do,eat and drink on I Drive anyway. The only thing I didnt like was the breakfasts which consisted of a takeaway box each containing a muffin bar, fresh orange juice and either an apple or orange. It tasted fine for the first few days but got pretty boring and we stopped bothering eventually and bought in our own breakfasts. Shuttle buses to Universal were frequent and fairly quick. We did have to find our own way to Disney but it was cheap and easy enough to get there too. So overall I have to say that the Enclave was a super base for a cracking holiday. As soon as we can afford it we will be back!
