This hotel was in a fantastic location- it was right opposite the Ceasars Palace, Bellagio and very near the Mirage, Venitian.

The rooms were very clean and spacious and were cleaned every day.

I must admit that the whole hotel could do with re-decoration but the rooms were comfy and nice. The casino area smelt a bit smokey but we only really used the casinos in other hotels so it didn't bother us. When we checked in we were asked if we wanted a non-smoking room which was great- room service was good and not too pricey.

There were lots of bars and restaurants in the hotel which we didn't tend to use that much but only as there is such a wide choice in Vegas.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would definitley visit this hotel again.

We expected a dog kennel from reports available on the internet all I can say is its about time some people learn't you don't get respect you earn it.

From the minute we arrived we couldn't have asked for more everyone was so helpfull and accomodating

The room was 14103 excellent overlooking the pool but high enough to be quiet even on louah nights the lifts where no problem never waited more than a couple of minutes

We ate every day at the 24 hr restaurant up the 1st escalators and the food , service and politeness of the staff where excellent we even had friends coming over from the Alladin as it was on a comparison to their restaurant..

Breakfast was a short walk down the strip to Denney's very impressive however the Denney's up the other end near new york new york was way below par.

We went to the IP show on the Wednesday " Legends in Concert " and had a brilliant couple of hours again the service from the waitress was second to none

All in all for the price I expected it to be a tired place but the atmosphere , staff ( at all levels ) food , entertainment , room , food , and especialy the classic car collection all excelled my needs..

I travelled here with a group of friends, what can I say I would defo go back with them again, such great fun to be with.

This hotel is very entertaining, I've stayed in this hotel several times and was surprised that the dealertainers remembered my name (wow we), I was amazed.

The mai tai bar is a great place to stop for your 1st drink of the evening, I was drunk after one scorpion cocktail drink (everything seemed to be moving, even the pictures on the wall).

Anyway if I could, I would definitely rate this hotel as a 10 out of 10, cant believe it might be getting knocked down the end of 2007 (gutted).

We stayed at the Imperial Palace for 7 nights and this was our third visit in 13 months.

We booked direct with the hotel and based on previous (minimal)play using the casino's Player's Card, we got a rate of $49 Sun-Thurs and $69 Fri and Sat. This is an excellent rate for a centre-strip hotel, even if it is one of the older properties.

We were allocated a standard room on the 18th floor, right at the end of 2 long corridors so it was a hike to the elevators and the ice machine, but we had no passing traffic so it was quiet.

The room was quite large, clean and comfortable similar to a Travel Lodge or Premier Travel Inn in the UK.

Housekeeping always came late afternoon which was a little inconvenient the first couple of days when we wanted a nap to recover from the jetlag, but we just asked them for clean towels and to leave the bed till the next day.

The bathroom was basic, but fine for our needs. The shower over the bath was always hot and had good water pressure.

The casino is quite dark and dingy and is showing it's age. We found the slots to be much tighter than on previous visits since Harrah's took it over.

We had a couple of good and reasonably priced meals at the Teahouse.

Rumour has it that the IP will be closed in July 2007 and probably imploded. This will be a sad day as all that will be left in Vegas are the more expensive, higher-end hotels with nothing for the budget traveller.

We will be returning to the IP again in November for 7 nights and I recommend it to anyone who would prefer a basic place to sleep so that they can spend more on shows and eating out.

My 6th time in Vegas but the first stay at the IP.
We were a bit unlucky as we had a room on the Carnival Court side - REALLY loud music until 2am every night.

This isn't normally a problem but we had been up for 36 hours when we went to bed on the first night and then couldn't sleep for a couple of hours, be sure to ask for a room on the opposite side to Carnival Court. Other than that, no complaints.

Rooms are average, not great but clean and big enough, TV, Shower etc, even a small balcony (most unusual for Vegas). Staff are friendly and helpful, poker room has some good tourneys, food is ok but we had brekkie at Dennys most mornings.

Didn't check out the pool because it was chilly still in March but would definitely stay again (in summer)if the pool was good.

We stayed at this hotel for 12 nights. The rooms were very clean and all the staff very helpful.

We usually ate breakfast or brunch at Harrahs next door as we thought their food and choice was much better.

The hotel is on an excellent position on the strip and is worth staying there for that reason alone. It is one of the busiest casino areas and as a result their was always a fantastic atmosphere.

Would stay here again.

We took a night strip coach trip. The one that takes you up the Stratosphere is excellent. We also went to the Grand canyon by coach. Awesome!!!!!!!

Stayed at the Imperial Palace 12-19 November. Had absolutely no problems despite mixed reviews on other review sites.

We got a deluxe room on the 12th floor facing Flamingo. We asked for a quiet location and didn't want to face Harrah's which has live music until 2am. Our room was clean and comfortable with cream drapes and bedspread. The shower was good and powerful and the bath drained fine unless you had a bath when it was slow. The bath is also very shallow.

The location cannot be beaten as it is so central for everything - Harrah's, Venetian, Wynn, Mirage and TI to the north and Flamingo, Paris, MGM Grand, Bellagio, New York New York, etc to the south.

We stayed at the Imperial Palace in April, but didn't eat there after reading the reviews of bad food. After reading a couple of reviews saying it was OK we decided to risk it this time. Had a couple of breakfasts in the Emperor's Buffet and they were fine, pretty basic and there wasn't a huge choice compared with other hotels, but the food was OK. We also had a steak sandwich in the Burger Palace which was good and a late night steak and eggs in the Teahouse which was also good.

We are tiny little low rollers and didn't expect the rack up any comps, but we used our players cards anyway in the penny slots. Manage to accrue almost $60 of comps which paid for our breakfast, steak and eggs and a T shirt. Well impressed!

We visited most of the casinos on the strip and the IP was by far the busiest and noisiest. It always had a great atmosphere with lots of people having a ball.

Didn't have a problem with the main elevators, just past the Mai Tai bar, but the ones nearer check in were often broken and we only used them a couple of times. Knew from last time to use the elevators at the back which worked well as they were often lines at the front ones.

Drinks service was exceptional, much better than any other casino and the girls came round regularly and remembered your drink.

The IP was recently bought over by Harrah's and I think it will be a sad day if it gets imploded as it is a great budget hotel for those who want to experience Las Vegas, but don't have the dollars to splash on a more high end place.

I would recommend the IP to anyone who wants a comfortable room in a great location without spending too many dollars.

Stayed here for four nights from the 28th July.

The location was spot on. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. Pool was safe with plenty of lifeguards on the scene.

Will certainly be going back to this hotel again. Ok - it's not the biggest or the best - but it's cheap, clean and the location is amazing x
