I wish they wouldn't show programmes like that though. It's not really about people swapping holiday experiences at all, it's all about peoples values and social engineering. Still it did remind me why I've never been to Tenerife.

Well, I went to a more out of the way hotel in Tenerife and it was lovely... Went on a day trip to the main resort and it wasn't nice, though...

I've just watched it-----------and it goes to show ------just how different people's holidays are!

I know I shouldn't watch these programmes but as soon as I hear a country I am interested in is on, I am inexplicably drawn to the remote control.

Kosh, I was only joking I'm sure there are lots of nice places in Tenerife and I am not naive enough to believe that all holiday makers who go there are like 'the Kents'.

I agree with you, Kosh and I feel the same about Majorca. The main resorts are awful, but you can find some wonderful gems if you look hard enough.

I missed the Luxor programme, which is a shame, as we just love it as a holiday venue. Its not strictly for kids but I defy anyone with a reasonable interest in Egyptian antiquity not to love the place and the people! With exceptions of course, as with any other venue.

I am sure that this programme gets repeated on ITV2 during the week.

I think it gets repeated around 2.30pm on a Sat on ITV2!!!!

And if you miss it tomorrow it's repeated again next wednesday at 8pm on itv2.
