I watched it, I felt the Magaluf adults seemed to have a more open mind about trying the holiday to India. I must admit, their holiday in Magaluf is my idea of hell though

Yes, i saw it. Really showed the contrast of the two holidays! Made me understand why i love India so much. The Dad in it really got involved and ended up booking flights to Goa.
Think i may have chosen Magaluf in my 20's a couple of years ago!!

I saw the india bit..So glad they decided to go back for more of india must say they were thrown in at the deep end..I loved the part where the father went out on the canoe/fishing boat paddling away (shame he was doing it the opposite way to what he should have) i think at that point he decided that india had got more to offer than first thought..Glad i missed the magaluf bit that don't appeal to me..

We saw it and even before it had finished we said we thought they would love Goa and then we saw that they had booked Goa. I don't think the holiday they were taken on in Kerala is typical of anyone's normal holiday though. We went a couple of years ago and also did lots of touring around for 3 weeks and never roughed it like they had to do. I do admire them for it. Overall though even though they are what people would call Costa people I do think they came over as better people than the other couple who go to Kerala every year. The Kerala family seemed to be trying to prove a point too much and didn't come over as compasionate. On the other side of the coin we love Spain as well and have had some brilliant holidays in Benidorm, there is some lovely countryside around Benidorm for walking and we have had some good laughs in the clubs on a night. I think you have to go with an open mind wherever you go in the world. I have never had a holiday I haven't enjoyed.

Saw the programme a couple of months ago.....shows how India can convert anyone into loving it (the girls were "differant")...
Quite a few friends saw it from work and were impressed

hi, does anyone no when this show is repeated. Its not the right one that is showing 2mow on itv2 at 12.30, that one is ayia napa vs ireland.

I missed it too so I hope that it is repeated (although knowing my luck I'll miss it again). It sounds like it was a good "watch" and it's nice to hear that going to Kerala has influenced them to visit Goa now. Maybe they will turn up on here to search for information. Fizz

I have enjoyed memorable holidays in both India and Magaluf.
I'm too old for 18-30 holidays now anyway.

This programme has actually confirmed our holiday for next year... after giving Goa a miss this year, we hoping to get back there for next March!!! It brought back some nice memories.

what station was it on? i have checked on catch up tv and it wasnt on itv1.also what time?
