Definitly no long trouser policy the 3 men in our group wore smart shorts or 3/4 every night.
Sorry Kaz i should have said something i had a baby boy and my 5yr old son who was maoning in the airport also my twin neices we were stood right in front of you waiting for cases/buggy.
Didnt see shoes for sale....beach not really great for the kids anyway.

We travel out on thursday and i for one wont be worried about the bombings. Who in the right mind is going to bomb a tiny village in the middle of nowhere.

Does any on know weather you have to pay for th mini bar in the room and also do you get free bottles of water with all inclusive? what are the shops on th complex like what do they sell? Also what is the beach like from pics looks quite bare? Also do you get any icecreams with A/I .

We were at palace early this month. When we arrived there was a bottle of water per eprson in the mini fridge. There are a lot of water dispensers around the complex from which you could refill water bottles.
If you want fresh bottles you do have to buy them from bars or shop.
Restaurants have bottles of water on table at meal times as well.
We used sterling a few times in shop but don't think exchange rate was very good.
Some ice creams available at bar near the beach on palace side, but you have to pay for stuff like magnum's.
Hope this helps. Sure you'll enjoy the complex - we did.

Like keitha said there are free ice creams at the beach bar and they are very nice quite a few flavours and they put on as many scoops as you like it is about a 2min walk from snack bar at PP....we never bought an ice cream in 2 weeks as these are very nices (walls ice cream)
I only took £50 lira and used sterling for everything else including swim kids, paying for trip with Mustafa in sarigerme tours (use him not FC....in my opinion anyway) you can use sterling in shops they sell things like snacks bottled drinks inflatables (expensive take your own) sun creams etc also jewellry shop, clothes shoes etc etc.........you can pay sterling or lira for everything both in hotel and sarigerme the market people etc all quote in sterling.
The place looks 100 times better than those photos its fab you will have a great time.

We didnt use the beach as im not keen on beaches went to look at it once a bit messy but they have to leave it as it is a turtle area the sea is too dangerous for kids.
My friends went to beach quite a lot as they liked to swim in sea and said it was nice a quiet down there.....free sunbeds aswell.

any one know if ther are any water sports allowed on the beach or even to go snorkling because of the turtles? Also any one know what the evening entertainment is like?

Just got back this evening from Pegasos Tropical and had an absolutely fabulous time
. I have a 6 year old and 21 month old and they loved it.

There are all the usual watersports on the beach....parasailing banana boats etc etc
Entertainment is run by the e3 team who work very hard there isnt enough kids entertainment of a night in my opinion 45mins crowsfeet island which is dancing etc for kids then the dreaded bingo then a show by the e3 team such as grease etc thats in amphitheatre.
In pool bar its usually a singer most are really good then aaaarrrgggghhhhh Bingo then a quiz then singer again it is fairly good but our kids ages 5 and 6 were a bit bored the nights they didnt go to kids club. Although they did enjoy some of the shows we just hated the amphitheatre but do what we did and carry table and chairs onto the balcony and it is much nicer.

Some bingoers take their bingo really seriously you know! lol. Its normally that kind of stuff you get off the serious "mecca crew" lol not the entertainers. I know where I'd have told him to go.

We are off to the Tropical on 16/9, just wanted to ask if you used the creche, we have a daughter who will be 3 in December, just wondering what the facilities were like.
Also, how did you find the sunbed situation at the tropical, did you have to get up early to reserve beds?
