hi guys, felt i had to post this.... and although generally speaking pdla is fine there are a small group of very good pickpockets operating in and around the top end of la ( by top end i mean toward san eugenio).

my mother and step father arrived last week for a weeks holiday, and after a took them up into town they decided to walk home.
around 2.30am a guy appeared from behind, lifted my step dads wallet and ran.

following day after i heard of this i went looking ropund and about, as i know a few blocks that a lot of maroccans live in, and had seen a discarded purse only a few weeks before.
as i happened i spotted a wallet on the floor, picked it up thinking id struck lucky, and i hadnt it belonged to someone else.
i managed to track the guy down, and he has now been reunited with his wallet complete with driving licence, credit cards etc.... money of course all gone.

the guys in question are believed to be maroccan, and try to give you a flyer advertising a flamenco show..... they then begin to demonstrate "flamenco" by pulling your trousers, and in turn take your wallet.....
these guys are very very good, and in the case of the guy whose wallet i found he didnt even know they had taken it until later.
