Hi, been pricing a few places up with First Choice. Should really be going in the school holidays but the few I've tried are all coming up soooooooo expensive. Therefore, it's either take the kids out of school or no holiday for us. I know its a long standing argument but I hate the way the prices go up so much at certain times, we'd be paying nearly £1500 more for the 6 of us to go during the holidays.

Got an attack of the guilts but I so want a nice hot holiday in 2008!!!!

I work in a school so no choice really. I know how pricey it can be though and do sympathise.

Does anyone know when the other tour operators put their 2008 holidays on sale?? Booked this years with Portland, I need a nice pile or brochures to pour over before I decide where to go and when.

My mate who's a travel agent says mid april, so anytime now really. It's getting earlier every year she says.

i find that cosmos is the cheapest for me by miles.Last year the holiday we went on was £1000 dearer with first choice than with cosmos

I went into my local Thomsons yesterday and they told me end of April - mid May. They couldn't give me an exact date.

Grrrrr Been out this morning but didn't bother going in the travel agents, didn't think they'd be out yet... My son picked up the First Choice and Sunstart brochures for me yesterday on his way home from college - they've changed a bit for next year - the kids clubs are different, I think they've lost the contract with Bugs Bunny etc Not that it makes any difference to us, my kids are teenagers anyway.
Had a browse in the First Choice brochures last night and priced up a few possibles on the web, they seem to be coming out quite expensive for next year, so I'm not commiting to anything yet until I've got all the other brochures. I wasn't going to bother booking early this time, but son has assured me he will still be happy to come along in between rock festivals and preparing for Uni
Just had a fantastic 2 weeks in Fuerteventura in a complex with First Choice entertainment team (will apparently be called 'E3' Entertainment next year) and Wavelength teens club, and we're off to a Thompson Superfamily hotel in Ibiza in August, so I'm looking for something similar for next year. Does anyone know when Airtours/MyTravel will be out? Their family properties are usually quite good.

Oops sorry I was searching holidays to the Dominican Republic for summer 2008 and it is now working. I have just tried to search for Gran Canaria and it doesn't work.

I have found with airtours website, the holiday dates for 2008 are up and running, but as of yet no hotels.

I did email them and hopefully brochures and online bookings will be available from May 2007
