......... ooh thats great news.
No surprise there then Mark
Out of a 14 day holiday, you'd be hard pushed to find me on a beach for more than 2.
Personally Mark, i'm the same but I do have this thing about Konnos bay where I have to keep going to.
off to cyprus in 12 days time with my bucket & spade , could anyone tell me were the beach is in Peyia ???
Unless there is a man made one...........
Coral Bay Beach we found is lovely and safe.
The beach is too far to walk to and I would not recommend it as the road leading down has no footpath, is very busy and very fast.
We have always hired a car for the duration of our trip so access to the beach has never been an issue. I am not sure about the regularity of buses up to Peyia.
Peyia itself has a few bars / tavernas, Peyia Tavern by far the best but you will need to book in advance.
There is a fantastic deli, Al Frescoe, which deilvers take-a-way meals, located opposite The Jail Pub on the main high street. Wonderful food if you fancy a meal on your terrace.
Sofie's Restaurant is a buffet style establishment and lays out a different catering style each day.
If you have car, Peyia is a great location to be based - 20mins drive to Pahos and 90 mins to the Troodos.
We can't wait - less than 3 weeks now.
Have a great trip - I'm sure you will.
yes i quite agree Peyia is a nice place , my daughter go married there 3 years ago . I think i will leave my bucket & spade at home , and if we find Peyia beach we will see if Phillipos sells them
