alina,
The current regulations / restriction on what you can take in hand luggage is on this thread.

Tk a lot!
I have the surname on my passport before i was married( i was rus) now i married in malta and my surname now is mizzi.the think is that on the passport i have rus and on the ticket i have mizzi. you think that is a problem?
Yes it can be a problem. If you cant get a new passort in time then take your marriage certificate with you.
The problem is that i cant make a new passport, but i have the marriage certificate, I hope will be ok.
All the best!
I am due to travel with a disabled passenger and am trying to gather some information on our possible aircraft that will be used as the help from Air Malta on planning seating requests is non existent unfortunately.
We are flying with AIR MALTA Charter from Bristol airport on Tuesday 28th August Flight code KM6204 to Heraklion, Crete 06.10am and return Wednesday 5th Sept Flight KM6205
Any help on fleet used and particularly seating configuration would be gratefully appreciated.
Any general feedback on this airlines customer service In Flight from fellow passengers who have travelled charter with them from Bristol would also be helpful
Thanks[/b]
KM6204/5 is currently being operated with an Airbus A320-214. These aircraft are configured 3-3 with 30" seat pitch. 9H-AEN seems to be the aircraft operating the service. For more infomation, visit the Air Malta website. There are some passenger opinions on Airlinequality.com.
Have a great time,
Darren
Know someone on the forum will know the answer to my question - you are very clever people.
Looking at booking an Air Malta Charter to Zakynthos - can you prebook actual seat numbers? We have travelled with TC in the past as they allow you to do this. (Cost a few £'s but we then book 2 window seats and 2 middle - keping our sons happy).
Thanks in advance.
Irene
You won't be able to book specific seat numbers I'm afraid. If it's a charter you are on, the tour operator will take care of bookings, not Air Malta. If it was an Air Malta scheduled flight, then you could use on-line check-in and select your seat.

Have booked flights with Air Malta this afternoon. I have registered with them and supposedly you can 'manage your booking' online. However, when I put in my number and password there is nothing on the site. I can, though access the booking via a link on my confirmation email which takes you to a site called 'virtually there' (all part of Air Malta). Does it take a while for the bookings to appear in the mange your booking area? I'm not really worried but not having booked direct with them before did not quite know what to expect.
Saw the former British MD80(or is it MD81 or 82)!!! the other day all white with Air Malta titles on it! Looks as if this old fav' is going to be used from the UK down to Malta operating for Air Malta.
Saw an air malta plane in tenerfie sur airport when we came back a couple of weeks ago - going to Nottingham. No mention of their website of this route - any thoughts ?
Although Air Malta have a scheduled operation, they also do a lot of charter flights for tour companies. It was probably a charter flight.
Darren
Thanks - I was just hoping that they maybe adding to the competition to help get improved 'value for money' and maybe offer a different type of service.

hi i am going to rhodes in a few weeks and have been checking on my flight at manchester . for the last 2 weeks air malta has been delayed by a couple of hours does anyone now if this is the norm for them thanks denise
hi we are flying with air malta in 2 weeks we originally booked with freedom direct.they booked us on xl which has now been transfered to air malta we have received our tickets and the allowance is 20kg but when we phoned freedom 2 weeks ago they said 15kg.do we beleive air malta or freedom also we dont know if inflight meal is included does anyone know if they sell food on air malta flights thanks denise
Air Malta will have been sub-chartered to operate the flights. Services onboard will depend on what the terms of the sub-charter are and nothing to do with Air Malta. Freedom should be able to provide you with the information.
Darren
thanks darren i will ring freedom
We recently flew with Air Malta to Zante from Birmingham. When we booked our travel agent told us that meals on the flight were included. However, there were no hot meals served, but you could purchase sandwiches from the trolley (not impressed) although saying that we usually buy a sandwich meal deal from Boots at the airport as plane meals are usually pretty disgusting, but our flight was at 4.30am and Boots was not open. Our checked luggage allowance was 20kg.
