Wanting to book into an airport lounge at Gatwick North terminal in October, but want to know if either of them have a good view of the runway?!
Have heard that the Aviance lounge doesnt have view of the runway - does anybody know about the Wentworth lounge?

neither chave a view of the runway, they are right at the bottom of the terminal.

I am thinking of booking the escape lounge at Man T1,on the web site it says there is a choice of hot food available, can anyone please tell me exactly what hot food is on offer?
Only reason i ask is that i know i won't be able to tuck into the sandwiches,nibbles etc that are on offer as i can only eat gluten/wheat free foods.

They do a varierty. They do some full meals included in the price but also some meals have a supplement £4 or £5. We were there early morning and there was porridge and bacon barms etc along with pastries, toast etc. I wish I had kept a copy of the menu because it seems to have been removed from their website (unless I'm looking in the wrong place lol)
I did find this though which is a preview written in a travel newspaper. I'm not saying the menu was exactly as previewed but it was pretty extensive.

google Manchester airport, go to home page, click on advert for Escape lounge and halfway down the page is the menu. We thought it was really good value for money and far superior to the Servisair lounge.

Just had a look at the menu,nothing on the complimentary menu i can eat 
I did notice though at the bottom of the menu they say to contact them and they will see if they can meet requirements of any special diets.

Which is the better lounge at terminal 2 Machester? I have been in both and remember one was better than the other.
I used the Escape lounge in November and thought it was quite good, clean and tidy.
Ive just booked escape in T1 seemed cheaper for us all to go there than buy drinks and food.
Anyway just to say it was cheaper on holidayextras.com rather than direct on the Mcr airport site, thomas cook added it to my booked with holiday extras .

How much is it with Holiday Extras? I know it's £15 per adult £7.50 per child if you book it on Manchester airport website. I seem to think agents get a discount if they book through holiday extras.
Im not sure if different days or times are different prices but when i checked on airport website they wanted £60 for a family of 4 (well im 5 buts 1s a free baby) but holiday extras was £45. I checked Holiday extras myself and thomas cook checked and it was £45 either way.

Is there usually a limit to the number of drinks you can have in these lounges? I've looked at the Cardiff site and it says - up to 2 alcoholic drinks. We're going from Bristol next time, and can't see anything on their site.
