Does anyone have any experiences of the Alva Apartments, are they any good. It's between this and Silver Sands, would like to know which one is better.

We've been to the Alva a couple of times.... location fab!! 
I wouldn't say they were any noisier than anywhere else along that road.

As jess said, good location, opposite the capobay right next to fig tree bay beach. Its a lower budget type hotel consisting of two towers with pool in between which gets bit a shade during the day, however its next to the road with a good selection of shops and restaurants near by.
What do you mean by noisey, people noise at night or road noise or lots of kids. It has the last two but the road isnt that bad as its now a one way single road with speed humps
the silver sands is at the other end of the resort which is in a good location and closer to the beach. If i had the choice i would pick the silver sands although its probably more expensive.

Theres only about £50 in it, just wanted to know which out of the two had the better rooms
Well can only comment on the alva as have been there before and can say that the rooms were adequate, open plan sitting room with small kitchen at the back, separate bathroom (obviously) with rooms overlooking either the pool or other hotels. Basic but functional
click on hotel reviews [top left hand corner} to see what members have reported about both rooms to help you make your choice. I would choose the hotel probably better maid service.

Was just wondering if anyone has stayed at these apartments this year or is anyone going in the next few weeks? I would appreciate any up to date feedback. Or anyother *** hotel/apartments in the same location that you could recommend.
It's taken me a while to choose between Paphos and Protaras but with the help of others at Holiday-Truth.com I have decided on Protaras. Now I just need somewhere to stay.

These apts are great.... fab location 2 mins walk from fig tree bay... couldn't ask for anywhere better.. stayed in these apts 2 time before but not this year..... try and get high floor... sea view. it's fab

Hi all, we are going to the Alva Apartments in Protaras a week on Sunday flying from Glasgow - can't wait.
Does anyone have an e-mail address for the Alva Apartments, I am trying to find out if they have safes and whether these are at the reception area or in your room. If anyone has any information this would be great.
Cases are already packed and can't wait to get out of this wet weather and sample the Cypriot lifestyle.

Hello. Sorry I don't have their email address, but we have stayed at the Alva and can confirm that there are safety deposit boxes in the apartments (bottom of the wardrobe to be precise!). Not sure about the studios though.

Maga, we fly out from Manchester Airport, 19th July for 2 sweltering weeks!
First time to Andreotis, but last year we stayed opposite them, on the other side of the road, so we know what an excellent location it is!

Its not the Cocktails you have to keep Fi Fi away from maga..........its all those lovely Cypriot men! 
(as my hubby knows only too well!) If you are staying at Andreotis, right next door is a restaurant-cant remember the name off the top of my head, but it begins with K...........
Fi Fi will have a great time there. Dancing, drinking, great food, great company........all in all, a great night.
