Any Kuala Lumpur experts ?

Hi all,

We are travelling to NZ next year with a day long break in K.L. (Malaysia Airlines).

A few questions if anyone has the answers ?

Airport.
Are there any Visa requirements for exiting the airport into the city, if so any idea of cost etc ?
How far from airport into city centre?

City.
What sort of size is it?
Do they have the obligatory "sightseeing bus tour" ?

If your a UK citizen then you don't need a visa. The airport is quite a way outside KL....about 50mins to an hour by taxi. There is a direct train route from the airport now see http://www.kliaekspres.com/

We had a layover in KL once for a day and took a tour from the airport for the day. This however was from the old airport Subang so I'm not sure what they do from the new airport. See if there's anything on the KLIA site
