Anything in the Sea to be worried of?

Sorry guys if this has been asked, I did a search but could find nothing.

Are there any 'Creatures' to be worried about in the Sea? Or other dangers? Im not a very strong swimmer, and as a rule never go in the sea whilst abroad, but i did want to have a 'Dip'

Ive just read on another board about a Woman whos Husband died last November after being stung by a 'Crimp Fish'

(maybe known as an Electric Ray??!) He was stung whilst swimming in the Sea at South Goa

seriously though if your not good in the water you probably wont want to go in unless you find somewhere like coco beach,the sea is very strong in goa and can literally knock you off your feet but you will find out when you set your eyes on it ! so it does'nt matter whats in there as you wont be :oops:

No I don't think I will be that brave. Its Mr Ellibee he loves to swim in the sea and i really don't want him getting bitten,stung,eaten etc. Its quite worrying me

I suppose I could tie him with rope by his ankles to my sun lounger so he doesn't go in!!

My other half and I stayed at that very hotel last feb and didn't find any nasties in the sea apart from the "jellyfish" near to her which of course turned out to be a floating plastic bag!!
Going back in 11 days time and the only concern we have is that we are flying with Monarch.
