fake crocs are in every shoe shop, i can remember exactly how much they were but they were 12 euro or less anyway, i only looked ad the adult sizes though

Didnt see real crocs anywhere in resort though.

I was there in April and whilst there were thousands upon thousands of fake crocs, the real ones were only on sale in a few sport shops and classy shoe shops....the price was 39 euros, but another poster saw them for 36 euros in the old town. (adult sizes)

They were in a posh sport/shoe shop in the old town on a corner where all the mime artists are, sorry but I don't know the name of the street. Think Sanji can help you. Adults were 36euros. They did sell childrens but I can't tell you how much they were as my little one was more interested in the Converse Allstars.

The shop you mean Cazz I think is called BASE.
It is opposite the Hotel Avenida on the cross road that leads to the "walking street", there is also another sports shop higher up on the "walking street" that sells them.

On the Avda Mediterraneo there is a classy shoe shop that also sells them, its about half way between the new and old town on the same side as the hotel Don Pancho....I can't remember the name and threw the carrier bag away only last week that's where I bought my "similiar" croc shoe.

There is a shop on the corner next to the Don Pancho that sells Clark shoes and Rieker shoes, but they had no crocs.

Just back from Benidorm on Saturday. Fake crocs are for sale in nearly all of the shops for between 6 and 8 euro. The real ones are the same price as home and can be bought in the shoe shop just before the indoor market.

Is it worth getting the real crocs what is the difference

In a shop, I read 10 good reasons to buy the real crocs....and I can't remember them now.

I have looked at both and I would say it depends what you want them for.
If you think you will only be using them around the pool or on the beach for 2 weeks a year, then I'd be tempted to buy the fake ones, but having looked at both, I would say the fake ones really look like cheap plastic shoes....you can see the difference in the plastic immitations and the other real croc plastic/rubber type of thing...so being the snob that I am and the possibility that I might use them apart from around the pool...I'd go for the real crocs......

Seriously, I think I would only buy the real item, I went to the Costa del Sol a couple of weeks ago and there were millions of fake crocs for sale and some of them looked naff and were only fit for the sea.
I'd have bought a pair of real crocs, but couldn't get the colour I wanted in my size.

The real crocs are supposed to be treated with an anti-bacterial anti-fungi thingy, which will stop foot odour and fungal infections, they are light, they are easy to clean and you can use diluted bleach on them....oh, I'm remembering some of the reasons

And according to others, they are sooooooo comfortable and the best thing since sliced bread.
