Going to really miss Goa this year. We are going to a wedding in Cuba in Feb so no time for Goa this time. Would have liked a week in Dec but not really worth the visa hassle and flight times just for a week
:cry
Not sure. I've heard that First Choice are cancelling their bookings to the Holiday Inn.
next year Hullsmoggy !!!!!!!!!!!! look forward to it.
a) Proof of a return plane ticket (yeah right, like I'm going to buy a ticket for him before they approve a visa)
b) Proof of having spending money (he's retired so we'll be paying for him)
c) Proof of where he's staying in Goa (staying with my parents)
Hopefully he'll enjoy it more that the mother in law who didn't like the heat, or the food or wild animals
More time to play around with the Tata Nano as well. Great little car for jaunts down to the beach
Looking at flying Air India via Delhi.
good look with his visa and hopefully see you there.
I am waiting for the England cricket team itinerary for 2013 before booking up. If they play a one dayer there again I will try to be there for that
Deffo be there though
Going March 2nd and so is Daniel Craig along with the film crew from the new James Bond Movie...woo hoo!!

Booked and paid for 12th February got 2 weeks at the Palmarinha for £205 for the 2 of us, that is a great price I thought
Surely there has to be a figure missing somewhere in there!!!! If not, PLEASE let me know where you got such a deal.
Sorry Millie, that was just the hotel, flights were £509 each, still pretty good, works out cheaper than it did last year at the same place.
Going for 17 days on 28th October then again on 3rd Feb for a month
Wonder if Daniel Craig will be staying at Glens Corner while we are there?

I think that has all been cancelled. They are now going to South Africa. I was gutted. Was going to let him stay with me!!
The weather seems to be very hot in the day for the time of year and we are only getting a few rainy minutes in the late afternoon every other day, so no complaints but the power cuts are really bad this season, last night we lost the power twice while trying to get ready to go out and three times while in a restaurant in Arpora, each cut lasted about 30 to 45 minutes
Some of the roads are in a bad way and have had a temporary surface laid over them also it looks like they may be widening the main Baga road near the CSM as both sides have been dug up and rocks dumped in the trenches causing absolute chaos to the traffic and pedestrians
Slowly getting back in the way of things, even managed to sleep in until 10.30 this morning, we sat chatting to the band at Mix after they stopped play at midnight, so did not get into bed until the small hours
Re: are you going to Goa 2011/2012
YES!!! Booked today, arrive Christmas morning, no better way to spend Christmas, in my opinion!
Yes, but not on the date or to the resort or the hotel we originally booked.
Why is that Mobor?
