We had a good look at the premium cabin as we walked through the plane and couldn't really see a great benefit over economy. We found the flight very comfortable with the 33" pitch and decent width seats.
We're flying to Cancun with Thomas Cook at Christmas and it will be interesting to compare, but I can't see the comfort level being as good as First Choice.
Thinking of going to Aruba next June. Is it dry or can it rain alot. Went to Mexico last June for 2 weeks and it rained and I mean rained for 5 days!! Looking at going to Renaissance hotel and Casino as I believe the Marina hotel is adults only. Husband uses mobility scooter so hotel would need to be suitable.
I've stayed at that hotel, it would be fine for a scooter, the private island would be difficult to get to on a scooter- the suite hotel would be better in my opinion- it has step free access to the large pool area, although you can use that area even if your in the adults only hotel. Aruba doesn't get much rain as it is too far south, a lot more than the rest of the caribbean islands, for that reason it is quite expensive, as you've probably found out. The rest of the island is very modern and easily accessible for scooters, including the many shops he can treat you too
