Hi guys
Has anyone been to Tenerife recently??
Is it true that you cannot exchange euro's at the min or withdraw cash from atm's
First Choice rang me and told me that due to the Greece Crisis that people are withdrawing all their funds??
Is this true??
Does anyone know of a good exchange place to use in near the Los Gigantes Hotel or Puerto de Santiago
many thanks
There were plenty of currency exchange places displaying their rates and they are not all the same so it pays to shop around if you get currency locally.
Was it a local travel agent branch that called you? I strongly suspect they are using questionable tactics to persuade you to get your currency from the local branch. You will get a better exchange rate in Tenerife compared to the UK on the same date.
Yes it was and I was a high street agent and yes I did suspect that they were just saying that
Thanks for your help....
Yes I always get my money when abroad
Thank you
Returned just a few weeks ago and there are no problems whatsoever. Looks like an attempt to get your business.
Oh that's a bit naughty of FC
Thanks.
Friday it was 1.17 euros
