I agree with Mark about the Nationwide but if you havent got it i would say take cash and exchange it in Malta.
thanks think i will just take pound stirling and plastic for back up.
have just been onto HSBC and they charge 1.75% for atms. but you can upgrade your account for £6 per month, get higher interest and get free travel insurance so thinking about it
