Hi
Could anyone roughly tell us how far these 3 destinations/beaches are apart from each other and can we walk them.
We picked a hotel we liked in Candolim, everything sounds perfect nice beach, nice reviews, i wondered though how far away from the hustle and bustle if we want it? My O.H thought it may be too quiet and both agreed we did not want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere, but do not mind walking along the shores to a different area.
From the maps i have seen it doe not show how many miles between these3 beaches/places ......
Thanks in advance.
Michelle
Candolim is lovely with lots of nice restaurants and bars and not forgetting the HT meets on Wed nights in the Carvery.
Enjoy
If you are too tired to walk back just pick up the bus back to Candolim from Baga or Calangute.
It takes hardly any time to travel around all places in North and most drivers are a lot of fun.
There can be a lot of wild dogs that at times can seem a bit threatening to some people.
Try O'Pescardor in Baga/Calangute way for an exceptional curry and east meets west for an amazing sea food platter in Baga, if they still exist!
Have fun!
Calangute is closer to Baga (2k) than Candolim (4.5k) and after Candolim there is Sinquirim
Candolim in the season is not in the middle of nowhere, it is in the middle full stop, plenty of hustle and bustle also plenty of good eating places and is one of the places you might find Tom warbling his heart out at Jambalaya on Sundays and there are the meets on Wednesday evenings where you could meet up with the Dragon or a Chilly

chilly
Thanks for the replies, sorry not replied sooner was in cyprus on me mothers honeymoon
Aww lovely Michelle - send my congratulations to them both
I have around 10 days left next year, been to Cyprus this year 2 weeks, got egypt booked for November 2 weeks, but next jan/feb whichever month we choose have around 10 days.
We are still going to GOA next November 2011 but still wanted to go somewhere warm next year. Is goa not a good choice for a first time for 10 nights due to the fact of it being long-haul with thomson? We did toy with the idea of going back to Sharm but its the same price, although Sharm is only 5.20 mins or so.
I was looking at the Nizmar resort in goa and it appears to have good reviews.
Thank you
Michelle x
