Hi Les,

We stay with my in laws who have a small house on the near the beach, there are a few places best one is camp 69 which has some lovely cabins with ensuite and the excellent bar run by Bosco, its very cheap and worth a look. Also there is Montego Bay which has shacks on stilts very clean, last year there where some apts near to Camp 69 but not sure about the price etc.

Bets thing jump in a taxi with a few things in a bag and go for a look, its only 20 mins from Baga.

Enjoy

Hi, we were there (Ashvem) a couple of weeks after the video was shot. The place that we stayed at was the seaview and it is only about 100 meters from the boat that they sat in. There are 3 sets of huts there all next to each other and are raised up slightly of the beach. Seaview, Rockbyte , and the other one I think is Sunset but couldn`t swear to it. Hope this helps. B

Hi

We stayed at Rock Bite last year - took a taxi from Candolim ( arranged for the driver to come back the next day).

The huts are basic but absolutely fine - we had one with toilet, sink and shower (ice cold water - very bracing!!).

We set our alarm for about 6am ( I think) and walked along the beach towards the sunrise - it was spectacular - no people, no lights just nature at it's best - well worth doing - we strolled back and had a full English breakfast (not very local I know but it went down a treat!!)

I'd recommend it to anyone.
